(Dark's POV)
I woke up with a pounding in my head. It hurt like hell and I groaned out in pain. I sat up whilst holding my aching head and observed my surroundings. Well would you look at that... Speaking of Hell, that's exactly where I was. I looked around and saw the familiar things that were contained in my father's lair; his thrown, his bed, his scepter's container, all the things I described from before were here because it was indeed my father's lair. And I was indeed in Hell. What I didn't know was that I was in a cage. I stood up immediately and I panicked, forgetting about the pain in my head. The bars would be impossible to get through, they were burning with the same flames that burned in my father's hair. I didn't dare touch them. Hurting myself now would make me weaker when I had to fight later. At least, I thought I would need to fight later. The pounding became stronger and I doubled over and fell to the ground. I let out another groan. I couldn't think straight, this pain was too much. Suddenly, I heard voices. I got up slowly, trying not to set off the pounding in my head again. I looked around and saw my father through the burning bars. There were two other figures beside him, but these figures weren't normally sized. Of course, my father wasn't normally sized but these figures were bigger than him. I tried getting as close to the flaming bars as I could to get a better look at them. Thats when my father turned and saw me awake.

"Ah, my dear son. You've awoken, I see." he cooed in his deep, demonic voice, even deeper than mine. I hated him so much. I somehow became angry. Just seeing him set me off. My anger bubbled up to dangerously high levels inside of me.

"What. Do. You. WANT?!!" I screamed at him, balling my hands up in fists at my sides. He laughed at me and the two figures beside him laughed as well. They were definitely demons, their laughs were deep and demonic just like my dad's.

"Oh, Dark. You don't understand, do you? You didn't kill anyone. Therefore, you pay the price." he said evilly as he inched closer to the cage I was held captive in. My eyes widened and I froze up.

"No... no, no, no! I was going to kill someo-... Wait... wait, that wasn't just someone..." I trailed off. His creepy smile grew and grew as my memory came flooding back to me. My head was spinning, the knife fell to the ground, the man turned around... the man... The man was Mark.

"You know, I wouldn't have made you kill anyone else if you had succeeded in killing your good side. You wouldn't have had to hurt anyone else for a long time actually. You would've been just fine but time ran out, you weren't quick enough and you failed. I brought you back here and now you get to join the rest of the failures in death." he explained. I breathed in and out rapidly. I ran my hands through my hair uncontrollably. I began pacing the cage. How could I let this happen? I wanted to punch something, I needed to get my anger out. I began huffing and puffing and I tried ripping my hair out. Pain won over my anger though and I stopped everything. I just stopped. I didn't want to do this, I couldn't fight my father. I dropped to my knees and looked down at my shaking hands. I felt tears sting the back of my eyes. I had given up, there was no way I was going to win this battle. I heard him and the demons laugh at me again but I didn't care this time. I wasn't getting out of this. I heard my fathers heavy footsteps against the glass floor and they stopped when they finally reached the cage. Suddenly, the cage disappeared. 'Probably done with the magic in his scepter.' I thought. I didn't look up at him though. I didn't care about what happened to me at this point. He could do whatever he wanted. I. Didn't. Care. Thats when my head shot up. Something came to mind. Someone, I should say. (Y/N). She cared. I couldn't give up now, (Y/N) still cared! I slowly turned my head and looked up at my father. He was grinning darkly at me until I grinned darkly back at him. His grin then faded and he became confused. I stood up quickly and struck him in the blink of an eye. He went flying back and hit one of the other demons, his scepter flying off to another place in the room. Far enough away from his grasp, at least. A flash of light blinded everyone and a piercing scream echoed through the room and I covered my ears. When the scream was no more I looked up and saw that the demon he hit was gone. My father was laying on the floor in his place instead. He tried sitting up and as he did, he looked dazed as he tried to figure out what just happened. I only laughed at him and started walking towards him and the other demon. The other demon looked at me with pure fear in his eyes and vanished before I even got close enough to touch him. Guess he didn't want to mess with me. My father isn't gonna want to mess with me ever again once I get done with him. He'll regret ever trying to mess up the new life he gave me.
