Dark must've noticed, too, because he started to tighten the rope around Mark's hands and feet before he woke up fully.

Mark lifted his head up and the first thing he saw was you. His face lit up, but slowly faded when he remembered where he was and what happened, apparently. He tried to move his hands and feet, then he remembered they were tied up.

You watched as he began to panic, and you hurried and went over to him to calm him down. Dark backed away from you too, and looked like a lost puppy considering he didn't know what to do since you were taking over.

"Hey, hey- shhh, look at me. Everything's gonna be okay." you soothed him as you moved his hair out of his face. He looked you straight in the eyes, and your heart dropped. His face was all bruised up, and he had a black eye, a split lip, and there was dried blood under his nose.

"Mark, what the fuc- oh my God... What's been going on?" You were scared and nervous, and trying your best to keep all of your fright on the inside.

"I- Oh, God... he made me do it, I promise! They fought back, and I didn't expect them too! I thought it would just be done and over with, but no. They fought back, (Y/N)!" he cried, tears beginning to leave trails along his dirty, beat-up face as they fell. You leant down and carefully wrapped your arms around him, and told him over and over again that everything was going to be fine.

You pulled back and examined his wounds, then you stood up and examined him altogether. He looked as though he had been in a nasty gang fight. Multiple nasty gang fights, even. You had to know what happened, and how he got so banged up.

You turned to look at Dark and he was scratching the back of his neck, looking sheepishly at the ground.

"If I don't get answers now, another terrible thing is going to happen in this apartment." you said sternly, your eyes burning into Dark's head. Before you knew it, you had your way, and Dark was telling you everything.
