Your POV
You woke up to nobody holding you in their big, strong arms. You lifted your head and found Dark gazing out of the window in Mark's apartment living room. He kept clenching his jaw. He seemed like he was thinking about something deeply. You decided to interrupt his thoughts anyway.
"Good morning, Dark." you said groggily. He looked over at you but he didn't turn his body away from the window.
"What do you want?" he spat harshly.
Wow. You didn't expect that.
"Whats wrong? Did you not get enough sleep?" you asked, concerned about him and why he used that tone.
"Oh no, I got plenty of sleep- and that's just what I needed." he sneered while finally turning his body towards you.
"Dark, what's gotten into you?" you asked. Why was he acting like this?
"The evil that I'm supposed to be using has finally gotten into me. I just had to be reminded about it." he said flatly.
What?
"Dark, seriously. You weren't acting like this before." you told him nervously.
"What was I acting like before? Not like my demonic self, and that's exactly how I should be acting. That's what I think." he told you, turning his back to you to gaze out of the window once again.
He wasn't making any sense. You stood up and started to walk towards him.
"Dark, what happened while I was asleep? What's making you act so rude?" you asked cautiously. He turned back around, a devilish smile on his lips.
"My father, (Y/N). He made me realize why I was brought back from the dead. He needed more demons to add to his army. And I'm one of them. But I wasn't doing my job, so now I'm going to start doing what I should've been doing this whole time that I was feeling sorry for myself. This whole time that you had to be taking care of the weak, pathetic person I was. I'm going to start doing my job, (Y/N). My job of being a murderer." he said clearly, and with that, he pulled out a shotgun.
But instead of shooting you with it, he simply hit you upside the head with the weapon, and your vision went black instantly.
