You got up and washed out the now empty bowl you had used for your macaroni and cheese. As you scrubbed the bowl clean, you thought about Dark and what he had said earlier.
"I have to make my father proud."
You weren't going to be surprised if you woke up the next morning to a homicide case on the news. You would know exactly who the murderer was.
You dried off your hands and made your way into the living room. You sat down, but didn't turn on the TV. You were bored, yes, but you didn't feel like TV would cure your boredom.
Your phone was dead and you didn't have your charger on you.
Besides, all you would hear about would be exactly what you had been hearing about this whole week.
"Mark's gone."
"Do you know why he hasn't made any videos?"
"What's happened to him?"
"Is he okay?"
You didn't want to bother with any of that stuff now that you knew why he wasn't doing anything.
You laid your head on the back of the couch, closing your eyes and rubbing them with your fists in the process. You noticed it had gotten darker outside than the usual dark, cloudy day that it had been. It was almost 9:00 PM since cleaning up took awhile, so you wouldn't expect it to be sunny with blue skies. Especially since it had been drizzly and rainy weather all day.
You focused your attention back on the TV, deciding to finally turn it on. After you did so, you tried to best to focus on what was happening in the kids show you had fallen upon. Instead, you noticed that you couldn't really focus on what was going on at all.
You were worried about Dark and where he was.
You wanted to relax more so you reclined the seat you were sitting in and tried your hardest to rid Dark from your thoughts. But you sighed defeatedly when you just couldn't.
I really hope he doesn't do something so bad that he gets put in jail, you thought.
They wouldn't be able to understand his background history and then everything would go crashing down. How would they react if they found out he was a demon? What would they do when he tried to-
Your thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a loud banging at the door. You quickly got up to see who it was. Hopefully it was Dark.
