I threw my stuff across the floor of my room before plopping down onto my bed. Knowing nobody else was home, I screamed at the top of my lungs for about a minute straight.

Better.

I love screaming. It's so fun. I especially love randomly screeching around my friends because they get so confused.

It simply expresses my thoughts and emotions well.

I was mentally exhausted from the day. It's much better than how my mental health used to be, though.

I finally was able to tell my family about things that I used to have to hide. When I'm interested in someone, I can tell my sister!

Sorry for the little rant. It woke me up a bit.

I got up and went downstairs to make myself some cinnamon-sugar toast (literally best snack ever <33). I decided to make two because I wasn't very hungry after actually eating my lunch for once.

That reminds me. I was too distracted with it being awkward to mention it, but that girl in the hallway was super cute. I don't wanna sound weird, but she gave me the 🫳 vibes.

And I know you probably want to know why now, but I really don't know what in particular does. It's just a feeling when you see other queer people. I can tell without even meaning to.

I have been correct on two occasions in real life when I first met them and my gaydar went off.

One was a kid who moved in years ago. They had medium-length brown hair that was died neon blue at the ends. Everything screamed queer. Obviously I wasn't sure, though.

I was right. We became good friends. They were non-binary and demisexual. I have an amazing gaydar.

Then there was this girl I met who jokingly acted like we were married and she was the husband and I'm the wife. That right there is not something a straight girl would do! Especially when she kept the act up for a week straight and called me babe, amongst other things.

Just to clarify, I wasn't out as non-binary then. The girl thought she was doing that with another girl. 🤷

I was right as well! She was gay!

Anyways, my toast popped up. I lathered it in butter and waited for it to melt. Then I pored my container of cinnamon mixed with sugar on top of it and spread the mixture with my fingers until it was even.

Scrumptious.
