I latched my arm around Tyler's as he came out of the locker room.
"What did you do?"
"What? What did I do? Your friend is the one going in our locker rooms! Seriously, she needs to chill and stop switching genders and crap!"
I stopped dead in my tracks and my face fell. "Are you fucking for real? She? There is no excuse to use that because he never once asked us to call him she. It was them, now he. You're a fucking ass, you know that!"
I went to walk off but he grabbed my arm.
"It's not my fault I'm normal and can't wrap my head around what ever the heck is going on with Mac. Are you really going to defend her?"
I rolled my eyes. "It's fucking he! And yes, I am going to defend him. He's an amazing person who can't control that he feels differently about his gender than most people."
"It's stupid, though. They can't just into our locker room because they want to. It makes everyone uncomfortable."
"Why? He's not bothering you directly. You guys are choosing to pay attention to him and this making yourselves bothered. He's just changing!"
"You know, the way you're defending them, I'd think you guys are the ones together. Hell, maybe you really are. I'm sure it wouldn't be too far off for Mac to make you think you're some lesbian and do shit with her."
I gaped before smacking him in the face. "At least he would be a better boyfriend! Fuck off! You're such an ignorant transphobic bitch!"
I rushed off before he could grab me again. Instead of heading to my spot, I went straight for the bathrooms and locked myself in a stall. Tears were falling from my face.
I was disgusted. I didn't know he was that kind of person. He was always so sweet before.
I thought about what he said. He really thinks Mac and I are a thing!?
