I glared at my untouched plate of food. For the past week, Asaiah forced me to tag along with her while she sat at that one guy's table.. with his friends.

It had been a week since I had unfortunately agreed to do the double date. Lilly happily agreed when I texted her the next day. I had really been wishing she turned me down.

The dude Asaiah liked was named Tyler.

Ew.

He ate lunch at a table with five jock friends.

Double ew.

I had to sit there while my best friend chatted it up with a jock and all his jock friends. They were really loud.

They had tried to talk to me on the first day, but gave up when they realized I didn't want to tell them all about why I "decided to be gay". Now they just nervously glanced at me from time to time.

"What about you guys?"

I looked up and saw Asaiah and Tyler looking at me expectantly.

"What?"

"We wanted to know if it was okay with you and your date if we went bowling on Sunday at like 5:30."

I tried not to, but I glared at Tyler as he awaited my answer. I shrugged. "I'll ask."

Back to staring at my food. I felt their judgemental gazes for a few seconds before they returned to the group's conversation.

You know what? I didn't want to be there and I didn't even have to. I quickly stood up and left the cafeteria, going to my locker to get my things for my next class.
