This time, I put on a dress. I wanted to look good for the double date even though I didn't want to go.

It was a blue and white striped dress that was loose and flowy. I put on my grey converse as well.

Asaiah walked over to my house for the ride in jeans and a green crop top. My jaw literally dropped. I never got to see her in a crop top, yet he did!?

What the hell!? Why did I care?

I quickly shut my mouth and pulled a straight face.

"I love your dress!" she said as she went around to the passenger side.

"Thanks." I sat down and started the car. "I kind of regret it, though. What if our dates think it's weird that I wore a dress if I'm not a girl?"

"Regardless of what they think, anyone can rock a dress. Especially you, though." She playfully winked, making my heart do flips.

What!?

"Thanks again. I love your outfit."

She smiled and buckled herself. "Let's get going, shall we?"

We had some small talk on the way there, nothing big.

When we got there, I was pleased to see the bowling alley wasn't busy since it was a Sunday.

Tyler was leaning on his truck parked in front of the building and I didn't see Lilly around yet. When we got to him, the two linked arms and headed in, leaving me slowly trailing behind them.

We decided to do a game with all four of us against each other, so they put their names in and I put mine and Lilly's in for her. They instantly appeared on the screen above our lane.

To kill the time until Lilly arrived, we got some pizza from the counter and saved two slices for my date. When I was halfway through my second piece, she showed up.

"Oh my god! I'm so sorry! I'm like twenty minutes late! I didn't mean to be, but traffic was horrible for a Sunday."

She sat down next to me. "These for me?" she pointed to the last slices.

I nodded. She smiled back and began eating.

When I looked over at Asaiah and Tyler, they were totally flirting.

I quickly looked back at Lilly. She was wearing a white T-shirt tucked into black jeans with a loose jacket over it. Cute.

"You look cute," I commented.

She blushed. "Thank you. You look amazing in your dress!"

I blushed back. "Thanks."

Asaiah was now glaring at Lilly for some reason. Wasn't she the one who wanted Lilly to go with us in the first place?

Tyler noticed and cleared his throat. "Let's get bowling, huh?"
