Asaiah was nowhere to be found as I left to go home after school without her. I realized Tyler took her home instead when his truck pulled up.

She went around to his side and gave him a big kiss before he drove back off.

I nearly barfed.

I saw her glance at my window and see me there, but she just ignored me and went inside.

I leaned against my wall and scooted down until I was sitting. My hands were rubbing my forehead, prompting my brain to find reasoning for why I was such a douchebag.

Nothing about Tyler was bad, really. He was nice, funny, and genuinely liked Asaiah. His friends weren't that bad either, just a bit slow on how being gay works.

I could tell she really liked him. She was always bright and smiling whenever he was around.

Why don't I like him!?

I shut my eyes tightly as I pulled my phone out of my pocket. I put my headphones in and turned on my playlist loudly.

I'm more even with the moon.
I'm still a Stray. I'm still a Stray-ay-ay.
