Am I the asshole for pressing charges on my sister?

I, 18 female/male/enby, moved to Canada when I was 14 to attend college. I had cut off contact with my mother (Renee) and sister (Bella), 38 and 19 female, but kept in touch with my dad (Charlie), 42 male.

I had to use scholarships and pay my way through college all by myself as my dad couldn't afford it and mom refused to spend anymore money for my education after high school. I had to get a part time job and I did but after I graduated I decided to stay in Canada which made me realize that I would have to get another job as my current one didn't pay well enough for me.

In the area that I live in the legal age is 17, so I quickly found a job as a stripper. While working my way up the ranks in my office, I also stripped on weekends for extra cash. I honestly considered quitting and working as a stripper full time in part because it paid so well but also because I loved my second job. I loved the costumes, the dancing, and the exercise plus my boss at the strip club treated me really well.

My other boss at the office knew about my second job, but didn't have a problem with it as it honestly wasn't her business.

Anyway, a couple weeks ago it was Saturday so I went to my second job and was doing my usual routine. When I'm halfway through my shift, my bouncer friend Tim says that the boss needed to see me in the office. Confused, I followed him only to find the police in the office with my older sister in handcuffs.

I asked what happened and apparently my sister had been following me since Monday looking for dirt on me and followed me into the strip club. While I was working she proceeded to take pictures and even a video of me without my consent. Which was against the club's policy as she should've turned her phone in to the bouncer's at the front. Tim caught her and brought her into the office where my boss called the police.

She had planned to send it all to our friends, family, and my boss and coworkers at my other job as revenge for missing her wedding. She planned to get me fired and disowned from the family for being 'a slut'.

The police asked me if I wanted to press charges. I immediately said yes. Well Bella managed to get a phone call and called our mom informing her of what happened. I was then blasted by my mother and in-laws who demanded that I drop the charges. I said no and that she should try to get a plea deal if she doesn't want to wind up on the registry for stalking and harassment.

My BIL tried to plead with me saying that if I did this they might lose custody of their adopted daughter, Renesmee 12 female. I told him that Bella should've thought about that before she took those pictures and attempted to show them to everyone and get me fired.

I don't think I'm wrong because actions have consequences, but I don't want my niece to be put in the system. So am I the asshole?
