I, 14 female/male/enby, was put up for adoption since I was born in the midst of a divorce.
My adopted mother, Siobhan (female turned at 20) and adopted father Liam (male turned at 36) have been amazing parents to me and my adoptive sister Maggie (female turned at 15) is my best friend. I got in touch with my bio family (Charlie; 40 male, Renee; 38 female, and Bella; 18 female).
We were building a relationship when Bella invited me to the states to attend her wedding. I happily agreed more so when she revealed that my parents were old friends with her future in-laws.
So we went to the wedding where we met my future BIL, Edward male (turned at 17), he immediately took a shine to Maggie and Maggie returned his fondness. I didn't think anything of it until the ceremony where Edward objected and called off the wedding.
Somehow I got shoved into a meeting room where Edward explained that Maggie was his true mate and not Bella and that he couldn't in good conscious marry a woman he would never truly love.
Bella flipped out and blamed me for inviting Maggie to her wedding.
I feel horrible for how things turned out, but am I really the bad guy in this situation?
