(Elena's sibling and Steroline)
I, 17 female/male/enby, was recently asked by my older sister's (Elena) friend (Caroline) to be her matron of honor and help plan her wedding for Elena's ex boyfriend Stefan. I excitedly agreed and we immediately started planning the entire event.
The problems arose when we sent out invitations and had to invite Elena (who is dating Stefan's older brother Damon and is still considered a friend to Caroline). Elena found out that I was the matron of honor and rounded on me calling me a backstabber and a scheming bitch.
I asked her what her problem was and she accused me of setting up her ex boyfriend with her best friend which I told her isn't true and that Stefan and Caroline bonded after she cheated on him with his brother.
She went on a rant and a tirade about how family doesn't betray family and asked me what if it was Jeremy (my brother who I'm closer with than her) to which I sarcastically replied "Well unlike you, Jeremy is loyal and honest and doesn't think with his dick."
That earned me a slap in the face.
A few people are siding with Elena and said that I should drop being the matron of honor despite the wedding being in two weeks because 'It's the right thing to do' but Jeremy says that I did the right thing.
So am I the asshole?
