(Bella Swan x sibling)
I, 19 female/male/enby, suffer from severe depression and anxiety. I also have seizures and migraines and take different medications for all of them.
Recently my doctor recommended smoking pot (side note: it's legal in my state, but not in the state that my sister was raised in). I agreed to try it out for a month just to see if there was any improvement.
Within two weeks I saw improvement. My headaches and panic attacks all but disappeared and my seizures became more manageable.
My dad knows that I smoke now, and he has seen an incline in my health because of it. He thinks that the doctor made the right call in prescribing it to me.
The problem is, is that I have a 14 year old niece who I babysit and help with homeschooling from time to time with my sister. I have NEVER smoked in front of her nor have I ever done it while I was watching her.
I did tell my BIL when he dropped off my niece about it and he was totally fine with it. He said that I looked like I was doing well, and said that I seemed healthier and happier. My sister came by to pick up my niece, but had to use the restroom. While she was doing so, I help my niece gather her things.
We were cut off when my sister started screaming and swearing. I ran upstairs to find her in my room and digging through my top nightstand drawer where I hid my weed.
She went off on me and threatened to calm the cops. She claimed that I was a bad influence on my niece and I was a good for nothing drug addict. When I tried to explain that it was for medical reasons, she called me a liar and said that she didn't want me around my niece.
I later received a lot of angry messages from friends and family who accused me of putting my niece in danger.
I don't know what to do, and this whole situation is a mess. Am I the asshole for agreeing to try weed to help with my medical conditions?
