The Taxi Driver

Chapter 2

He allowed her to go into the taxi as Todd loaded her luggage in the back. As soon as Rocky and Rebecca tried to go in, he stopped them. "No. No. You guys get a reserved spot." He smiled at them. "Really?" Rocky asked. "Yes. I have it just for you." He said. "Why am I not buying it?" Rebecca asked. He smirked. "It has an AC and everything." He said. "I'm down with that." Rocky said fanning himself. "Where is this spot of yours?" He asked. "Oh just right here." He smirked. He looked around. "Where?" He asked. He smirked.

"AHHHH! GET ME DOWN FROM HERE!" Rebecca shouted holding on for dear life. "This is cruelty! Why would you make us ride on top of the cab when clearly there's enough room inside!" Rocky shouted. Ross just laughed along with Todd. Laura was abit oblivious to the situation. She was a bit tired so she was sleepy. He noticed her dozing off so he turned on the radio at full blast. She jolted awake. "Hey! Why'd you do that!?" She asked. They laughed. "Just for the fun of it." He laughed. She rolled her eyes. "Boys." She said.They smirked. He looked in the mirror to see if she was going to fall back asleep. She rested her head on the window once again. He turned the radio on again. "Seriously!?" She asked. They laughed. "I'm sorry.I had to." He laughed. She rolled her eyes once again and rested her head on the window.

He stared at the natural beauty while keeping his eyes on the road. She looked so at peace. "Hm..Hm hm..." He hummed. "Oh....Oh...." He sang. She opened her eyes. "Why did you turn it off?" She asked. They looked at one another and laughed. She looked at them confused. "What's so funny?" She asked. "That wasn't the radio." He told her. She looked at him confused."What do you mean?" She asked. "That was me. Not the radio." He admitted. She looked at him shocked. "Really?" She asked. "Yes." He said. "Wow. Impressive. If it was then sing me a song." She said. He blushed very faintly but Todd noticed. So he peered out the window to mess with Rebecca and Rocky. "I'll kill him! I'll kill him. Just get me off of here!" She yelled. He laughed at her and got back inside the cab. "Come on. Sing me a song." She told him. He smiled. "Very well." He said. She smiled and waited.

She smiled looking at him in awe. "Wow.That's beautiful." She smiled. He blushed. "Its not quite done but.." He said. "Awe. You my friend are in love." She said. He blushed even more. "Love? What's that?" He asked. She giggled. "Don't play dumb. You know exactly what love is." She said and looked out the window. He basically just told her exactly how he wanted to be treated. Not by anyone though. It was specifically her. She didn't know that though. It was like love at first sight for him. She smiled at him. "Your girlfriend is one lucky girl." She laughed. He smiled uneasily. "Girlfriend?" He asked. "Yeah. Your lucky girl that's in you life." She said. He blushed. "Not really. "No girl." He admitted.

"Are you sure?"She asked. "Yes. Pretty sure." He said. "Wow. Then when ever you meet her, tell her that I said she is a very lucky girl." She said as he pulled up into the hotel. He laughed. "I being?" He asked. "Laura. Laura Marano." She smiled. He looked at her. He could've sworn his heart just skipped a beat or two. "You may be?" She asked. "Ross. Ross Lynch." He said getting out of the car and helping her. Rebecca got out. "Alright lover boy! We got it. Your two new people. We met you but now your in her personal space. Back up bub." She said. He rolled his eyes went out to get her lugages. She gave her a look. "What? He made me ride on top of the taxi!" She said. She chuckled and they walked inside the hotel.

"What do you mean you don't have a room? I had one reserved. I called right before I got here to make sure I had one."She said. "I'm sorry ma'am but it seems as though there was no rooms reserved for a Marano." The lady at the desk said. Rocky put his head down. She looked at him. "You didn't schedule one did you?" She asked. He shook his head. "I'm sorry. Something came up. I must've forgotten it." He said. "Told you. I should've done it myself." Rebecca said proving her point. He rolled his eyes. "Lalaala" Rocky said poking his tongue out at her. "Where am I suppose to stay now?" She asked. "You need a place to stay?" Ross asked. "Yeah.Thanks but no thanks."She said. "No. No. I insist. Come. I'll take you to someone who always welcomes everyone." He said smiling.

"Todd. Your here. If your here then Ross must be home." Stormie said. "Yeah and this time, he's even brought a girl." He teased. "Really?"'She asked. "Yes. She's right outside. Come meet her." He said as he took hold of her handand nearly dragged her outside where she saw her son staring at a girl ombre dark hair and a sundress. "Ross! Honey who are these people?" She called out dragging their attention. Laura turned around to face the voice of his mother. He took her hand and brought her over. "Mom. Laura. Laura.Mom." He introduced them. She smiled and held Stormie's hand. She smiled looking at Laura. She saw the way he was looking at her. 'Yup. This is the one.' She thought.
