Chapter 29

She pulled him in for a deep kiss. He smiled and her picked up. "This is gonna be exciting." She said wrapping her arms around his neck. "As long your happy to take it with me, then yes."He said placing her back on her feet. She giggled. "I'm gonna finish this just so we can do something together tonight." She said. "Hm? What did you have in mind?" He smirked. "Well it has occured to me that we kinda drifted. Not all the way but kinda." She said looking down. He lifted her face up to look at him.

"What do you mean?" He asked her a little confused.She pulled away slightly and looked at the over to make sure the timer was running. "Well...Since my dad kinda made things a bit awkward, I just wanted to know what's you know....Going inside that head of yours?" She said playing with her fingers. "Laur..." He started. "And be honest with me.No taking the easy way out of anything." She said. He sighed and nodded. "Fine. As long as you tell me why on your part." He said. She looked at him confused. "I want to know about Sean." He said letting it slip. Her eyes widened. "Sean?" She asked hiding the shock on her face. He eyed her for a moment and took her hand.

He sat on the couch and she sat next to him."What do you think of us?" She asked. "I love you and I know we'll make it through anything.Being with you is all I will ever ask for. No matter the price." He said. She smiled. "I feel the same way. God how can I be so stupid?" She sighed. He held her hand. "Its just...It felt different.I know for sure it was different." She admitted. "Different how?" He asked. "I felt like it wasn't us. It was pressure of maybe trying to prove something to someone. And I kinda feel like I forced you into it because S---." She stopped. He let go of her hand.

"Because of Sean? What does Sean have to do with this?" He asked. She looked at her now empty hand. He was pulling away from her. She felt it. Just like Mandi wanted. "I love you and nothing will change that." She said. He nodded. "What did Sean do to you?" He asked. "He didn't do anything but I feel like he will someday. I just feel like he's up to no good. And I wanted to shake those feelings off so I came to you." She confessed. He just stared at her for a moment. "As a message to him." He mumbled. She looked up.

"Tell me about your little friendship." He coughed drly. She sighed. "We go way back. Since I was little. But we drifted apart around the time my mom started to get sick." She said looking off into the distance. "Everyday I would look forward to seeing him. But he started to act strange one night." She said. "What he do?" He asked. "I was in my room when he came over. He seemed really nervous and he had said something but I don't remember. My mom came out and she was glaring at him. She hugged me and told me to go to bed while she talked to him. Being the obedient kid I am, I did so."She said now looking at him.

"What happened after that?" He asked. "The next day, he wouldn't even look at me or talk to me. He would act as if we were never even friends. I felt crushed because I had feelings for him. But only did I realize it too late. Mom died a short week after that and I fell into depression excluding everyone out of my life." She said exhaling. "Those feelings?" He asked. Shd cupped his face. "Disappeared after. I had a deep hatred for anything that moved, walked,talked, and sucked up oxygen. Except for my dad." She said. He felt a little better.

"About your dad..." He started. "Forget my dad. He always wants me to marry someone as rich as he is. He once tried to get me an arranged marriage with Prince Charleston. Guy was handsome but his attitude was straight shit.I mean asking a woman the size of her bra to be hand made is not the kind of question I want to hear. Especially on our first meeting."She said. He chuckled. "But why'd you let me in so easily?" He asked. "Because your different.And I like different." She smiled.

He smiled and allowed her to crawl on his lap. She wrapped her arms around his neck as he wrapped his around her waist to keep her balanced. "From now on, promise to tell me what's on you mind?" He asked.She smiled. "Promise. And same applies to you." She said pecking his lips. He nodded. "Promise. And I just wanted to know. I was confused. That's all." He said answering her question for earlier. "About what?" She asked. "The whole Sean, you and Mandi thing." He said. She ran her fingers through his hair slightly pulling the ends. "Woah. There. Slow your roll." He said.

She giggled and kissed him. He kissed back. But one thing occured to him, Mr.Marano is in more danger than ever. Of course he couldn't tell his little sweetheart that her father was in danger. It would crush her. And the thought of Sean possibly getting between them made him angry.But he wasn't gonna allow that to happen. He can tell a person's character from a million miles away. And Mandi is not a person he wants around his Laura. Her giggle brought him out of his thoughts. "Your such a tease." She giggled pulling his lower lip to its extreme and trailing kisses down his neck. "I'm the tease?" He groaned. She sucked on his Adam's apple and licked it carefully. Ding! "The brownies are done." He moaned. She smirked and got off him.'Thank god.' He thought trying to calm down.

Sorry. I been a bit busy. Apparently working at a hospital is a lot more work than I thought it would be. I work at two seperate hospitals. One is volunteer work and the other is work work. Urgh....Sorry? Comment and Vote!!!!!!
