She just smiled at her. "Mom. Mom. Your staring." He called trying to bring her attention back to them. "Oh!" She suddenly shouted scaring Laura who was right in front of her. She held her and hugged her. "Welcome. My apologises. Ross doesn't usually bring such beautiful woman home." She said. He blushed and looked away. "Mom...." He whined. "Oh hush up. I'm pretty sure if you ever brought a girl home, which you don't, I wouldn't have said that." She said taking the girl's hand and bringing everyone inside as he flushed completely. She looked his way but he covered to get her lugages. "Come in." She welcomed everyone.
"What's your name?" She asked her. "Rocky and this is Rebecca and Laura." He introduced. Everyone looked at him. "What? It was getting old. She keeps smiling just like mom does everytime she sees someone new and its like lets get a move on!" He said. They all laughed. "Ignore him. He's just a bit jetlegged and tired." Rebecca said joining Laura and Stormie on the couch. "I am. And you left out irritated." He said sitting next to her. She laughed and rubbed his head. "Aww baby. Its okay." She said. Stormie just stared at them. "Odd. But your all adorable." She chuckled. Laura looked at them weirdly then looked back at Stormie."Yeah. We're something alright." She said glaring at them. Todd then came into the room with some refreshments.
"Well...I wanted to say thank you Stormie but are you sure your okay with us staying?" She asked her. "Absolutely. I have a house right across the street you can use for your trip here." She smiled. "Oh...Uh...Are you sure?" She asked once again. "Of course I am. You practically like family." She said. She smiled again. "Can I pay you Mrs.Lynch?" She asked. She shook her head. "No. No." She said. "I have to. If its a whole house. I have to. I need to repay you for your kindness.Please." She said. "No. No. That won't be needed". She said. "Please. I won't leave until you say so." She begged. "Persistant aren't we?" She asked. She nodded. "Very well but I'm not charging you alot. Your only here for a limited amount of time." She said sadly. She smiled. "Yes." She said and hugged her. Then the thought of her mom occured to her. Stormie hugged her back. This made her wanna cry. She hugged a little more tighter.
"Really? We have the whole place to ourselves?" Becca asked. "Yup. And she's gonna charge the least." She told her. "Did she say it or you begged her?" She asked. "You know I can't take advantage of someone's kindness. I'm loaded and daddy wouldn't miss a few grand." She said. Her eyes popped out of her sockets. "Are you crazy!? Mr.Marano isn't gonna be too happy to hear that."She said to her. "Well. I'm an adult. I make my own choices. Just like mommy did." She said sadly. "But that's the choice that--" She stopped as she looked at her. "Oh...Sorry." She said. She nodded as she sat down and hugged her. "You'll get over it." Rebecca reminded her. "But you know how hard it is." She said. She nodded. "How about we go shopping tomrrow!? You love shopping!" She tried to cheer her up.
"I do but not here." She said and laid in her bed. She sighed. "Okay. Lets talk about your friend." She smirked. "What friend?" She mumbled in the pillow. "You know. Mr.Ross." She said. "What about him?" She asked her. "Its so obvious that he totally likes you." She said. "Ha. Funny. No one is gonna like a girl that can't even get over the fact that their parents divorced only to cause the death of their mother that happened years ago." She said with her face starting to heat up as tears trickled down her cheek. Becca couldn't see her face so she didn't do anything. "Are you sure? I mean what he said in the car seemed specific don't you think? And then how his mom said he never brought girls and suddenly he blushed?" She asked. "She was teasing him. No way a guy like that can never have brought a girl home."She said.
"Guy like what?" She smirked. "Just guys like that. In all honesty I just think his mom was teasing him. I mean he was nice enough to bring us here. And to top it off, since melon head couldn't book us a home to stay, he was kind enough to take us to someone who could." She said. "So you think he's nice?" She asked. "Absolutely. He didn't come off mean to me so why not?" She asked. Rebecca chuckled. "Ha. Nice. Okay. Sure."She said rolling her eyes. "Well I still think he's totally into you." She told her. "And only if it were true right?" She mumbled. "Do you want proof?" She asked her. "Unless he's out that door ready to say good night, no." She said. Just then a knock came at the door. She smirked and walked over opening it.
She scoffled. "Ross." She said. "Good to see you too." He smirked. "What do you want?" She asked him. "I just came to give Laura this." He said holding out a little box. "Where's my box? And what's in it?" She asked him. "Just a little welcome for her and you don't get one. Maybe some other time." He said causing her to roll her eyes. "Laur! Ross is here! And he's rude!" She shouted. He just chuckled. Just then she came out from the room."Want to take a little walk?" He asked her. She smiled. He melted. "Sure." She said. Rebecca rolled her eyes walked to her room. They walked out and walked down the drive way.
"What brings you here?" She asked. He blushed lightly. "I came to give you this." He said holding out the box for her. She looked at it. "If its a ring I'm gonna scream." She teased. He blushed. "No. No ring." He chuckled. She opened it. "Wow. What's this?" She asked. "Its just a little something to remember me by." He smiled. He had craved her a little taxi and put it as a chain. She smiled. "Wow. Thank you. That's sweet." She said. He blushed. No one has ever called him sweet before. "Your welcome." He said. "I'm gonna cherish it." She said. They just smiled at one another. It was kinda awkward because he didn't know what to do or say. "I should probably head back." He said breaking the silence. "Yeah. You should. Not that I want you to. I mean its just that..Well...I." She stuttered. She blushed as he smiled at her. "I know what you meant. Night Laura." He said. She smiled as he got in his car. "Night." She waved. He flashed one last smile and drove off. She looked at the chain. "Ross Lynch." She giggled and made her way towards the house.
