"Thanks but I should really get back to R--" Mandi cut her off. "Today is all about your dad. I think you spend as much time with him as possible. Considering the distance between you now." She said shoving a glass of shampane in her mouth. She gulped it down. "I kinda promised him I wouldn't leave him alone tonight or forget him so I should really--" She cut her off once more. "He's fine. I'll go check on him for you." She said walking away. "But." She stopped. She was long gone. "Sweetie. I'd like you to meet madam Smith." Her dad said taking her arm and walking her over. She looked back as she dragged in the opposite direction of him.

"Ahh...Ross." Mandi greeted him.He fumbled with his tie avoiding eye contact. "I'm sorry. We haven't properly met. I'm Mandi Marano. And--" He held his hand out for her to stop in her tracks. "I don't care who you are. Whatever you do, its not going to work. I would stay the hell away from me."He said. She swirled her cup and brought it up to her mouth. She swallowed and pursed her lips. "I don't know what your talking about but I'm sure your gonna regret that." She smirked. 'Like I'm not regretting enough.' He thought to himself.

"I want you to take a look across the room." She said to him. He looked at all the smiling happy faces of everyone. Especially hers. She looked so happy and the smile wouldn't just leave her face. He noticed she had a glass in her hand. Mansi smirked as he eyed his wife both lovingly and a bit raged. She caught a glance at him. He looked at her for a moment. She gave him an apologetic face as she turned back into the conversation she was draghed into that she now enjoyed. He looked back at Mandi.

"You now feel it don't you?" She asked him. "Sure." He said. "I can sense it all the way from here. You have officially understood mow huh? You don't belong here. Just look at how happy she is. Imagine her if she was back home, she would 100x more happier than she will ever be with you." She said. He looked at her. She was right. He could never make her as happy. Not now, not ever. She giggled away evilly as she walked away as she had now messed with his brain. She knew it and he knew it. He started towards her but suddenly the lights were dim andher father had dragged her away to find seats.

He stood where she was last seen. He sighed. "This is in honor of my husband, Mr.Marano." Mandi said pointing to the group of dancers that came out. She smiled and joined her husband and step-daughter.They watched the dancers together. But Laura was too focused on trying to get back to her husband instead of watching. But her smile and her thought of an amazing night started to crumble as she seen a bottle on his mouth as he chugged the whole thing. He looked at her as he drank it.

Her eyes nearly popped out of her head. He was picking which kinds were good. The dancers had just finished and she immediately ran over towards him. "What are you doing!?" She whisper shouted at him. "I'm living. Since you have left me, I should enjoy myself in a place I'm not familiar with. Thanks." He said chugging more vodka. He was feeling a little different. He could bearly tell. His vision was starting to get blurry. "Lets go before things get messed up."She said getting a hold of his arm and trying to pull him away. "No!" He shouted and threw her off. She was shocked and a little bit scared.

He picked up another bottle and picked her up. He pulled her closer, wrapping his arm around her waist. She could almost taste the junk he had just consumed."Your the reason I'm like this." He whispered to her. He pulled her by her hair and raised her neck up a little. Tears began to prick her eyes. This big place and yet no one seemed to notice a damn thin. Except for her father of course. "Ross...Baby...This isn't you. Let go.." She cried. He let go and spinned her around so her back was to him. The crowd gasped.

He trailed kisses down her outstretched neck to towards her exposed back. Her father walked over and snatched his daughter away. He shrugged and finished the last of the bottle before bursting into a laughing fit. Mandi smirked as now her plan was officially in session. He suddenly felt this rush of heat. He took off his jacket and threw it. It hit Sean just as he turned around. "Wow. Great place huh? Rich and don't give a fuck about anyone but yourselves." He slurred. They gasped. She wiped off the tears rolling down her cheeks. She escaped her father's grasp as she went back to get him.

"Please. Just lets go upstairs." She whispered crying. He cupped her face and sucked his teeth. "You look adorable." He said pecking her lips. "What a loser. Laura your better off without him. Imagine life without him." Sean spoke. He whipped his head towards him. He pulled her hair once more and broke the bottle. She cried as her hair was being being pulled to the extremes. He walked over to where Sean stood. He let go of her as he pushed him against the piano. He started to choke him. "Ross! Let go of him! Now!" She she shouted. He didn't care. "He's bad news. You know this kid is after us more than I do. I'll kill him! I'll kill him! He wants to take my place!" He said tightening his grip. Mr.Marano walked over and pulled him back. But Ross being in self defense mode raised his balled up fist to hit his father-in law leaving shock to take on her face and everyone else.
