"Be careful got it?" He asked her. She nodded. "You do the same. I'm worried more about you than I am worried for myself." She chuckled. He glared at her. "Fine. I'll be careful as long as you promise to do the same." She said. He nodded and kissed her forehead."I promise. And avoid Mandi at all costs." He warmed her."She's the last person I'd ever trust. You don't have to worry about that." She said reaching up to kiss him goodbye. "You sure? She's vindictive if you ask me." He said. She chuckled amd wrapped her arms around his neck.
"I trust you.I'll do as you ask. I'll find out a way to get us out of this mess." She said. He nodded. "And I'm gonna go convince my mom to stay out of it."He said wrappimg her up in a big tight hug. "Uh...I can't breathe." She choked out. He chuckled and loosened his hold."Thanks." She said hugging back. "Sorry. I just can't seem to shake off the thought that this was our last hug." He said. "Don't worry. We'll figure this all out." She smiled. He smiled and kissed her for a briedf moment.
"Where have you been young lady!?" Her father asked the moment she stepped inside. "Out." She replied lowly not even making eye contact. Her father looked at her up and down before speaking any further. "Your mother would like to speak to you." He said. She flinched. "Laura. Your mom wants to talk to you. I think you'll be happy with what she has to say." Her father's voice echoed in her head. "If your talking about Mandi, she is not my mother. I would like you to stop referring as my mother." She said as respectfully as she could.
"Okay.I get it. Your upset." He said right before she started to ramble on. "You know? Upset isn't even the word to describe what I feel right now.Maybe I'm fucking pissed. Or mad as hell. You don't ever want me to be happy do you?" She asked. Her dad look down as he tried to calm the burning feeling. He knew she knew that wasn't true even the slightest."I do. But I just don't think he's the one."He mumbled. "Of course you don't. I'm gonna go take a nap. I had a long glorious unrestful night." She said walking away.
"I said Mandi wants to talk to you. I think its important." He said. "Unless Mandi can paint me a decent picture of my beautiful future with Ross, I don't care what she has to say." She said turning around to leave to come face to face with Sean. "No I honestly think you should go see her and talk to her." He said to her. She rolled her eyes. "So your on their stupid scheme too? Great. Just great. I'm gonna go take a shower and then get some rest. Then maybe I'll talk to her." She said walking off to her room.
