"Huh?" She asked confused. "I thought you wanted to wait?" She questioned. "I did but not anymore. I want to." He said. She smiled. "Really?" She asked. "Yes. The more I thought about it, it occured to me that I do." He lied. He did love her and want to marry her because of their commitment to one another but now he had a threat. He had to shut it away. He knew just how he was gonna do that. But then her father crossed his mind. The guy barely talked to him and he didn't like him. But he respected him. Why?
He wrapped his arms around the girl. Him being so much bigger than she was, he practically covered her. She smiled stepping onto her tippy toes. "Are you sure?" She asked. He took a deep breath and got on his knees holding her hand. "I didn't write you a big nice cliche poem or speech but..."He said pulling out a ring from his pocket. She blushed. "You got me a ring?" She asked. He looked at her. Her face even faded even more. "Uh...Continue." She insisted. He stared at her for a moment and chuckled. She fanned herself. "This is a promise ring." He said holding it up to show her. She smiled and nodded. "Like I said, I don't have a big cliche speech but I'm gonna say the most important thing right now. I love you. I know there are gonna be battles that we have to over come in order to be together and all but I want you to know that you can always rely on me. And I will never let go of you."He said.
"You promise?" She asked. He held the ring closer to her finger. "For every breath I take. I promise." He said. She blushed. " I promise to take care of you also. As long as we have one another, there shouldn't be a problem."She smiled. He flinched hearing the word. "What?"She asked cupping his face. He smiled standing up putting the ring on her finger. "This is so cute!" She smiled leaning in to kiss him. He kissed her and off the corner of his eye, he looked at the stuff on the stove. He pulled away. "Um...What is that?" He asked her. She chuckled and walked over to it.
"This is my mom's favorite veggie soup." She smiled. He looked at it and sniffed the air taking in its scent as she poured it in for him. She handed him the spoon and a bowl of it.He stared at it then looked up at her. "Well?" She motioned to it. He sniffed it once more before taking a sip. She smiled waiting for his reaction. He let the warmness calm him down. Strange. He was just as hot as the soup right about now. Anger-wise of course. She looked at him as if to say "What did you think?" He smiled politely. "How was it?" She asked.
"By any chance, did you use this?" He asked holding up a sort of powder. "Yeah. Its labeled greese and I needed it." She said. He smiled and took a deep breath. He didn't like the sour bitter taste it gave but it gave him a rest. A feeling of relaxation took over. "Uh...Well...I like it." He said. Her eyes lit up. "Really!?"She asked. He nodded. "Of course." He said. She smiled. "I'll get you something to go with it. I haven't really started on dinner. What would you like?" She asked him sweetly. "That won't be necessary but thank you." He said pecking her cheek and walking towards the living room."Ross?" She called. She made sure to turn off the stove before going after him.
"What's wrong?" She asked him as she situated herself on his lap. "Listen, I need to tell you something." He said. She looked at him. "Tell me what?" She asked. "Um...Well there's this really mean woman..." He started. "Uh huh...." She said nodding her head for him to continue. "She wants to take everything from this guy. Everything he has." He said. "Do they have a name by any chance?" She asked raising an eyebrow. "They shall remain unknown." He said. "Why?" She asked. "Uh...Because they don't know about one another?" He said trying to come up with an excuse. She rolled her eyes. "What a rip off!? This story is not fun. We need this story to be interesting." She groaned. He smirked.
"Then I came home to my fiance. She was looking as beautiful as ever. Like always." He smiled cheekily. She rolled her eyes covering her blush. She pulled up his collar. "You think your slick?" She asked. He nodded. "Yes. Yes I do." He smirked. She pulled him up with her finger and pushed him back down on the couch. He laughed. "Is that supose to frighten me?" He asked. "No. I don't think so." She giggled as he tickled her. "I know so." He said rolling her on her back and pinning her on couch. She laughed. "You made your point." She said. He winked.
"I don't think so."He said. She pushed him off her and got up. "Marano will not like that." She imitated her father. He laughed sitting up. "How are we so random?" She asked. "I don't know. I guess its just how we work." He said. She chuckled. "I love you?" She asked. "Do you love me?" He raised an eyebrow. She laughed. "No doubt." She said. He slowly approached her as she backed up. Before she could run, he grabbed a hold of her waist as she giggled. "What do you want?" She asked. He pulled her towards him. "I see you. I see you!" She chuckled. "Why are you so giddy?" He asked. "Its you who is giddy!" She said. He laughed. "Are you high or you low?" He asked eyeing her. "Low. Look at you." She kissed him. He kissed her back. She laughed slightly and deepened it as he pulled her closer.
