LOT OF people might probably think that what I'm doing is not right. In any point of view, this is so wrong in many ways.
You can't blame me if I did that. That's the only thing that I thought was right...before.
Gaia was lost in her thoughts nang umupo sa tabi niya ang kanyang asawa.
Callisto, her husband, saw that Gaia is spacing out again. Even if he sat beside her for 10 minutes now.
Hindi man nagsasalita si Gaia, alam na alam ni Callisto kung ano ang dahilan kung bakit nagkakaganito ang kanyang asawa.
Callisto reached Gaia's hand and finally, nakuha na niya rin ang attention ng asawa niya. Tumingin ang asawa niya sa kanya with a confused look.
Naguguluhan man ay nagsalita pa rin ako, "Why, Tangi? Kanina ka pa ba dito?"
Callisto smiled at me.
"Not really, Mara. I think I'm staring at you for 10 minutes now since I sat beside you."
Hindi ko mapigilang ngumiti nang tinawag niya akong Mara. We've been married for 6 years now at mula noong nalaman ko kung ano ang ibig sabihin ng Mara, ganoon pa rin ang epekto sa akin.
I remember when I asked him what does Mara means and why he keeps on calling me that.
"Mara. Mara came from the tagalog word Marahuyo which means to be enchanted..." he smiled at me and kissed my forehead before he continues to talk "...I'm enchanted by you, Mara. Since we met, I always feel enchanted that's why you are my Mara"
Callisto saw the small smile in her wife's face.
"Mara, you're smiling beautifully. I think I know why" saad ni Callisto na may ngisi sa kanyang labi.
Gaia gently tapped his husband's chest.
"Don't tease me, tangi. Kakagatin kita pag tinuloy mo pa yan"
Callisto laughed at what Gaia said to him.
The couple went silent for a while until Callisto decided to broke the silence.
"Penny for your thought, my Mara?" Callisto asked saka hinawakan ang kamay ni Gaia at hinalikan ito.
"Nothing, Tangi. I'm just thinking na 8 years na pala tayong magkasama at 6 years nang kasal..."
"Ang bilis ng panahon" sabay nilang saad.
The couple both smiled with what they have said.
Truth to be told, 8 years is a long years now considering that many couple broke up these days with many hurtful reasons.
They both went silent for a while—a comfortable silence.
Only the sounds of bird chirping and their loud heartbeats can be heard.
Gaia, looked at their interwined hands with a smile.

"Tangi?" Gaia spoke after a long comfortable silence.
"Hm?" Callisto answered.
"May pinagsisisihan ka ba sa walong taon nating pagsasama?" Gaia asked.
Callisto is baffled why his wife suddenly asked those question but still anwered," Pinagsisisihan? Wala akong pinagsisisihan eh. Yung relasyon natin, parang perfect timing. Alam kong maraming nangyari bago maging tayo pero wala akong pinagsisisihan..."
