Noah hadn't answered my calls until nine o'clock on Sunday night.

"Hello?" I asked. Excitement over taking my voice because he was finally returning my calls.

"Babe, I am so sorry! I forgot to tell you that I was going to Montana for the weekend with my family to visit my gran. But I'm coming around now to pick you up and take you somewhere. It's a surprise. Be there in ten minutes." Click. And the line went dead. I didn't even have a chance to get a word in.

And just like that, my faith and trust in Noah was restored. I glanced down at the clothes I was wearing. Grey sweatpants, and sweater. Oh god, and I only have ten minutes.

I jumped up and tore through my wardrobe. I pulled out my black skinny jeans with rips in them. I found a white lace camisole and my trusty black cardigan. I slipped on some flip flops and then checked my make up. I looked awful. I decided I didn't have time to put on make up so I took of the smudged mess that it was and let my hair out of the braids so it fell in waves down my back.

The door bell started ringing like crazy and I ran my way down stairs, not bothering to tell my family where I am going, plus because I didn't know.

"Hi." I breathed out breathlessly. Stood before me was a very handsome looking Noah. He had on a white shirt with tanned shorts and basic converses.

"I'm so sorry!" He pulled me into a tight embrace and nuzzled into my neck. "I was stupid and I should I should have told you about it! I'm so sorry I didn't answer your calls." He pulled back and placed his lips gently against mine.

"It's okay." I whispered when I pulled back for a micro second. Then replaced my lips to his.

"Okay, you ready? I'm sorry it's not a fancy restaurant but something tells me your going to like this. Come with me." He grabbed my hand tightly and pulled me into his car.

"Where are we going?" I chuckled lightly at his eagerness.

"It's a surprise." He smiled. Turning the key in the ignition, he began pulling out of the drive way and made his way to the unknown named location.

"So how was your gran?" I asked to make conversation.

"My gran, she was good. She recently moved house so we were helping her move her stuff and get settled into her new home. I also got to visit some of my cousins. Georgia and Marvin. I hadn't seen them in five years, so it was really great to see them again. How was your weekend?" He asked curiously, gazing at me.

"Kind of boring. On Friday I went over Becky's and we watched a load of girly movies and I slept over. Then I caught up on some studying and homework. And then you called." I smiled at him sincerely. I'm so glad he called. I was seriously beginning to worry that I had done something wrong.

"Oh yeah, shit I have chemistry homework." He muttered to himself. I chuckled at his forgetfulness.

"What are your cousins like?" I asked.

"Well, Georgia, she's eight. She's boss of the house and is daddies little princess. She a little diva. And Marvin is slightly older. He's fourteen and is a marvel fanatic. He's kind of quiet but full of fun when you get to know them." I smiled at his description.

"They sound lovely." I admitted.

The drive to where ever we were going had taken up twenty minutes of our time. And we still weren't there. I watched as the night became darker and the streets became spookier. The bare branches of the trees towered over the load brick road. The April air was thick and warm. My fingers graced outside the window as the air whipped around them.
