I rolled over onto the other side of my bed. The sun was lightly drifting through the curtains, my bedroom window was cracked open ever so slightly. I could hear the delicate song the birds were singing. Everything was very quiet and no one was shouting or making a fuss downstairs.
Normally, this would be bliss. But the fact that I hadn't spoken to Noah for five days was killing me. Also it didn't help that tomorrow was Monday.
It was driving me insane not talking to him. I missed his smile, his touch. I missed him. I gazed up at the ceiling rethinking all of my options. If I tell him, he will talk to me again, but if I tell him, Bert will kill him. And me. I sighed and let out a few desperate cries for help.
"God! Am I really about to do this?" I said out loud to myself.
I got up and showered, washed my hair with strawberry scented shampoo and conditioner. I styled my hair so it ran in loose waves. I changed into my best outfit, if I was going to do this I might as well look good doing it. I pulled on my best pair of light blue jeans which made my bum look really good. I put on a white tank top and a slightly see through light pink sweater. I added my brown leather jacket to it.
I pulled on nice jewellery, sprayed my vanilla bean scented perfume and applied my make up. Making sure it was natural and light.
"Okay... You can do this!" I told myself and breathed out lightly. I looked through my old messages and found his address again.
"Mom!" I called out... No reply.
"Mom, dad? Jacob?" I walked down stairs and found my mom in the kitchen.
"Mom, I'm going out for a while. I'll be back in a couple of hours, before five at least." I smiled.
"Well honey it's ten now that's more then a couple of hours but okay!" She smiled and kissed me on the forehead.
"Bye!" I smiled back and kissed her on the cheek.
My palms began to sweat as they gripped the steering wheel. My breathing increased and I got more and more nervous.
"Oh god." I breathed out and turned the key in the ignition. I pulled out the drive and made my way too Noah's.
I was about to tell Noah my biggest secret ever. I was going to spill everything and tell him my uneasy confession. The drive to his house seemed to take hours. I pulled into his drive and walked towards his door. Oh God. I waited a full three minutes before I actually pulled my hand up to knock, but someone beat me too it.
The door was pulled open and my gaze went up to the attractive father that is David.
"Emma! Hello, so nice to see you. We were just heading out, are you here to see Noah?" David asked sweetly. I saw April and Amber in the background pulling on their coats.
"Umm yeah!" I said awkwardly.
"Well come in then." He smiled and moved back for me to come in.
The minute Amber saw me she jumped out of Aprils arms and ran towards me.
"Emma!" She squealed with happiness. She wrapped her arms around my legs and was jumping with excitement.
"Hello cutie!" I ruffled her hair and smiled at her.
"Emma! Hey it's so nice to see you again! I hope everything's okay." April pulled me into a long embrace.
"They are fine, thank you!" I smiled.
