~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
I came back yesterday after the party at about one thirty in the morning. My mom was asleep but my dad was up and waiting for me sat watching Re runs of friend son the TV. I walked in slowly trying not to make too much noise, I knew he knew I was back. But I didn't really feel like having a conversation at the moment.
Noah was picking me up in less then twelve hours and I needed sleep. But just as I reached the bottom of the stairs the conversation started.
"So you back then." He stated the obvious.
"Yeah..." I trailed off. I decided I might as well talk to him. Five minutes won't hurt me. I walked into the living room and sat down next to him.
"How was the party?" He asked nicely.
"Good." I nodded simply.
"Emma. You can tell me anything. You do know that right?"
"Of course I do dad. What would I need to tell you?" I asked.
"Well it's just, you acted weird when Jacob mentioned Noah's name. Have you too fallen out or something?"
"No! I promise. We're fine." I smiled.
"Well... If your sure nothing wrong, go on get some sleep." He grinned at me.
"Thanks dad. Night." I leaned over and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Oh and we're going out for some lunch tomorrow at around twelve so be up before eleven." He added on.
"Oh... I won't be here. I'm going to the beach with... The girls. They really want to go to the beach." I lied right through my teeth.
"Oh okay... Well it's going to be good weather for it. Hot day." He smiled.
"Yeah, that's okay right dad?" I asked.
"Yeah of course. Have fun with the girls." He smiled.
"Thanks dad." I got up and headed up stairs, I removed my halloween make up and my costume and changed into my pyjamas. A shirt that said - let's face it, I'm totally hot. Paired with short pyjamas shorts with kisses on them.
I climbed into bed and set my alarm for nine 'o'clock tomorrow, well today technically.
Before I drifted off to sleep, memories of the party replayed in my head.
MEMORIES:
"Oh look at you too love birds!" Becky came over and smiled at us. "Where you guys off to tomorrow?" She asked.
"I'm going to take her to the beach." Noah smiled down on me.
"Awe that's so cute! Well I hope you have a good time. I'll leave you guys alone now. Probably want me gone." She waved off and walked away.
"Bye." I giggled.
"I love the sound of your laugh." Noah admitted.
"Really? What else do you love about me?" That alcohol must have gone to my head because sober Emma would never have asked that! I'm a huge light weight.
"Your eyes. Your voice. All of you is beautiful." I blushed hugely because of that unexpected compliment. I buried my head in his chest and wrapped my arms around him.
"Babe! Your too sweet." I smiled into his chest. My words muffled by him.
"Come on let's go dance!" He smiled at me and dragged me to where a dance floor had been created.
