It is currently Thursday. The shock of the new boy has died down and he seemed to be doing just fine. He was introduced to the football team they practically signed him up right then and there. He also has girls throwing them selves at him left and right. So by my count, seven girls have come up to him during lesson or lunch to 'introduce them selves and hope he's finding his way around school okay.'
It's pathetic. But surprisingly, he turned down all of them. I saw the disappointment and shock in their face as everyone of those stunning girls faced rejection for the first time. Noah was currently sat in the middle table of the cafeteria, basically the popular table.
To be fair though; it's not like we were sat in the grubby corner next to the bins. We were sat a few tables away from the Middle.
I looked over my shoulder at Noah, laughing his head off with the guys as he had more desperate girls swooning over him.
"Penny for your thoughts?" Michelle asked me curiously.
"He really does have the world served to him on a silver plate doesn't he!" I replied. "He doesn't have to lift his finger, because one of his little minions will do it for him."
"Guess he's just lucky." She answered.
"No... It's got to be something more then just luck. He has to be like a male witch or something, casts his spell on everyone. But not me." I finally turn around to see that Chanel and Charlie have joined us.
"Hey!" They spoke inSync with their melodic voices.
"Hi! You alright?" I asked. They nodded back happily.
"Your over thinking it Em, he's just lucky, but sure his looks and athleticism have something to do with it! That's all it is. Don't worry about it." Michelle told me.
"Who said I'm worried about it?" I questioned politely.
"No one, it's just you have to let it go!"
I glanced back over my shoulder. His head flew back in laughter, his Adam's apple bobbing up and down. His eyes watered as he began to calm down but then he caught me staring at him. His eyes shifted back to Bert awkwardly. Oh god!
Taking my own advice from Monday, I dressed a bit more down today. I was wearing a big comfy grey sweater, with black skinny jeans and Uggs, I had my black circle scarf on and thrown my hair up into a messy bun. I couldn't be fucked to be honest. I don't care what a stupid magazine says. I dress how I want to. Which most of the time was, bohemian and hippyish. I had a lot of colourful clothes. But I also had a lot of pastels and blacks. I generally loved all types of clothes.
The bell rang, indicating the end of lunch. I slung my rucksack over my shoulder and made my way to my locker. I had a free period now so I planned to do some studying in the library. My exams weren't for at least another six months, but this was the nerdy side of me shinning through in all its glory.
The library was quiet. Not a lot of people here. There was one kid who was asleep on the sofa, a couple of nerds geeking out over computing and programming. A couple making out in the history section, and that was about it. I sat on a table by myself and stuck my nose in my psychology book, highlighting and making notes.
I looked up and glanced around the room. My eyes came to a complete stop when I saw him. Noah Blair. He was sitting in one of the comfy arm chairs across the room from me. Sitting in that guy pose. Reading a business text book.
