Today is the day that Bert told me to meet him, meet him by the back shed at the beginning of lunch. It's weird because oddly enough, I don't feel as nervous as I should. Maybe it's because of those funny lessons that Noah gave me or maybe it's because I want to know what he has to say.

But what if it's another trick, what if he doesn't have any information at all and is going to get me. So many what ifs flew through me and almost made me re think my decision about meeting up with him.

Almost.

If he gets me, I can get him back this time. And plus, what if he's telling the truth. This could be extremely important information that I need to know.

So I hopped out of bed and rummaged through my wardrobe. Pulling out a pair of dark blue, high waisted skinny jeans and a capped sleeve black crop top. I paired them together with black ankle booties and a leather jacket with a faux fur lining on the collar. I applied my make up as always and just decided to put my hair into a half up half down bun.

Two quick beeps outside and I was out of the door. I flung the door open to Becky's black Kia Forte and plopped myself down inside.

"Hey." We both chimed at the same time. Joan Jett, bad reputation was blast out our ear drums.

"Jesus! I mean I know it's a great song but turn it down a bit please." I begged covering my ears.

"Urgh, fine your no fun."

"I'm lots of fun and you know it." I poked my tongue out at her as she began pulling out of my drive way.

"So you feeling okay? After you know the talk we had on Friday about Noah." She asked cautiously.

"Yeah I am, the reason why he wasn't returning my calls was because he was down his grans in Montana, but actually. He came down at like nine at night yesterday and surprised me by taking me to a field. He took me star gazing Becks." I gushed excitedly.

"He was in his grans on the weekend? You sure?" She questioned.

"Yeah why? That's what he told me."

"Oh... It's just I could of sworn I saw him on Saturday, at like three. Oh never mind. Must have the wrong person."

"Wait what do you mean? Where did you see him?" I questioned harder.

"No look it doesn't matter, I obviously didn't because he was with his gran but I just thought I did. Forget about it." Anyway, was it really romantic?"

Concern still present in my mind but I decided to ignore it. "Um... Yeah it was." I couldn't get it off my mind. She knows what he looks like, why would she say something like that?

"You too are too cute!" She smiled for us.

"Thanks." I lied. I gazed out of the window watching the leaves flutter beneath the wheels and twirl in the air. Once Becky pulled up into school I made my way immediately to home room. I got out my phone and just went through a bunch of stuff to get everything off my mind.

Every now and then I would look up to make sure the teacher wasn't watching but when I connected eyes with Bert's. Everything stopped. He was straggling along in the hallway by himself when his eyes averted from his phone and found mine. He raised his eyebrows slightly, as if too say 'you got the message?' I nodded ever so slightly to confirm. His jaw tightened as he nodded too. He looked back at his phone and continued on walking.
