Just below her building, there was a park. She went there and sat on one of the benches. She opened her hair and then tied them in a bun. She took out her specs and book and started reading it putting a timer. After 30 mins at 7:40 am, the timer beeped making her come out of her dreamland. She kept all the things in the bag, undid her hair and left them be, and went back to her flat. She opened it and then kept things in their place before going into her room, she threw her phone on the bed and lay there getting some air. She then sat on the bed as her eyes went back to the chain. She kept looking at it before putting it in the drawer and hopping into the washroom to take a shower.
As it was a pooja today, Nandani made some sweets to offer and sorted all the things Nyonika asked her to get for the pooja on the last day. It was 8:30 by then, she ran straight to her room and took one of her Indian wears, and quickly changed into it. She was ready in 10 mins and was looking at stuff when her phone rang. She looked at it to see the security from the main society gate calling her asking her permission to let her enter a car. She permitted them after knowing it was Manik his parents and the younger gang. She quickly kept things in place and after 10 mins the bell rang. She opened it and hugged Raj as soon as she saw him. Raj smiled at her and hugged her back. Nandani broke the hug and then hugged Nyonika who responded with equal enthusiasm.
She then asked them to come in and was about to start them showing them around when Mukti said,
Mukti: Nandani! After seeing Mom and Dad, you forgot us?
Nandani bit her tongue and then asked them to come in. She met them all, including Manik. She asked them to keep things at the kitchen counter and asked them to follow her. She then started showing them around and then explaining to them why she kept where. Raj being the most enthusiastic kept asking her questions about her setting. Finally, she brought them to her library and study room (the two rooms are joined). Everyone gaped at the scene. The wall exactly in front had floor-to-ceiling length shelves, half of them filled with books. On the right near the window was Nandani's table and all the things she needed for work, and on the left side, near the window was a spot to sit down and work. As Nandani hired an interior designer, she had done a great job with it. There were chairs on the walls which could be pulled for anyone to sit and also a table for people to have a group study. Nandani's table screamed aesthetics, and Raj was in awe of it.
He turned to Nandani and said,
Raj: if you are ever selling this flat, I am buying this!
Nandani: Uncle you can come and live here with me I have no issues with that also!
Everyone laughed at her while Raj kept his hand on her. Lastly, they went to Nandani's room which was a great mixture of black shades from bed to washroom to closet.
Everyone praised Nandani for their choice as Cabir suggested she should take some pictures with it. Nandani took some pictures and posted them on her Instagram.
After a home tour, they all sat down in the drawing room. Nandani made them some coffee and tea while all the ladies did the preparation. Manik soon got a call from the priest so he went to take him. After 15 mins the priest and Manik came, Nandani served them tea and coffee and they had it. Soon all Nandani's friends came except Aryaman who went back to Kota for his studies last week after the court hearing. They all looked around and appreciated Nandani and Zoya's work. Nandani went and hugged Sanket who hugged her back. She looked at him still in his arms when he said,
Sanket: You know you did wrong?
Nandani: You know it doesn't matter now?
Sanket nodded and hugged her again. When Nandani told Zoya about everything the very next day she told Sanket who just shook his head in disbelief at the girl. He was angry at first but then let her be knowing she was not entirely wrong about it.
