Sanket Pov

I reached my bus as soon as possible and sat in the far corner at the end to read the letter! That girl is the only one who has the audacity to make me dance on her fingers!

I opened up the letter and read,

Hey handsome!

It's been quite some time since I wrote you once and well I guess this is going to be the last time after all! Because I don't think so how much you and I, both are gonna change once I come back from Himachal.

I am so sorry for all the times when you were sad because of me! Which was almost always! I can't believe that I am actually leaving this place and you and going away to be around people I don't know!

I know I am breaking the only vocal promise we made that we would do everything together but after all the stuff that happened, I don't really think that I will be able to live and that too happily after now! Please please please be normal after I am gone because even though away I am always there in your heart! And no one can take that place of mine!

I love you Sanket!

You will always be my special person!

Please don't try to contact me! Even though you mean a lot to me I don't want any strings attached to this place!

I am sorry.

Till the time the letter was over I was in tears. They were flowing nonstop! I can't believe after so many years of knowing her and everything that we have been through she pushed me away. I heard someone coming so cleared my face and sat quietly looking outside.

She must have even left!

I thought. After I reached home I went straight into my room making my mom frown. I kept the letter in a small case. I got fresh and came out of his room before getting busy with my usual activities.

As she wants!

My mind chided.

Mom tried to ask me about her, well they both are quite familiar with each other, but I left the place giving her no proper answer.

End of Sanket's POV

Aryaman's POV

After lunch period I was going back to my class when Abhimanyu stopped me in between! Even though we both were in the same class we never really got enough chance to interact with each other which surprised me.

He handed me a letter and said,

Abhimanyu: Well! This is from Nandani!

Her name made me surprised making him ask,

Aryaman: Why are you having the letter? Where is she? Is she at school?

Abhimanyu: Well I guess this has all the answers! But if you are still confused you can come and ask me about it!

He left leaving me behind confused! I went inside the class to sit in a corner while I opened the letter!

Hello there, mate!

How are you doing man?

Well, I am so sorry to go AWOL and block you for the last week but well it was something I really needed to do! I am so sorry btw to break this news to you like this but I won't be coming or joining the school anymore! Being there for two reasons!

1.             Because I don't want to!

2.             Well, I am shifting to my boarding school in Himachal!

Shocker I know... Tell me about it!

Well, you came in like shining armour took my heart, and kept it with you forever. This is not that kind of letter. Because other than taking my heart you took everything else from me! You became a friend I could rely upon without even knowing the consequences of it!

I am so sorry if I ever disappointed you because of my actions. I would really love to meet you soon babe!
I hope we meet under the shiny moon and glittery stars.

Nope, I hope we meet under a scorching sun and with a dry mouth...

I kept sitting on the pavement in the ground. Thinking what could be worse than this?

Aryaman's POV end

AT 4 PM

Nandani was at the Railway station. She glanced at the entrance once knowing very well that no one was coming. When the train came she went and sat inside her cubicle with her parents who were going to leave her there and come back by the next night train. It was a 15-hour long journey which means that they were going to reach the next day by 7.

After Nandani settled she kept to herself the entire journey and didn't talk to anyone of her parent. She kept thinking about the letter to Sanket and all that she had said to Manik and others. She was pretty much sure that Manik was not going to be affected by any of it, only if she knew!
