A/N: got something special for chapter 50, and that's not it, so yeah. Here you go with this title

A whole week the same nightmare would follow Castiel over and over again. And every night, he'd wake up either crying out loud or with a tear-stained face, calm but terrified. And every night, a worried Dean would lay next to him, propped up on his elbow, his face on Cas' arms after waking him up, always asking if he was okay. Always taking him in his arms, holding him gently, assuring him everything was fine, that he was there.

Plot twist: It was not fine.

'Cause every time, Cas would feel worse after. And Dean's touch didn't sooth him, it made him feel bad. And he hated himself for it. If he could just get himself to talk, to confront Dean, this all might soon be over. But he didn't dare to. He was too scared of asking. Of losing.

And he knew Dean had nightmares as well. He could see it in Dean's eyes the morning after. But he didn't let it show in any other way. He never screamed. He never cried. Cas never knew if he even woke up because of them. All he knew was... Dean just woke up, went about his day, and the nightmares didn't change anything about that.

If only it was like this for Castiel.

Charlie's words would follow him around at daytime, too. Not as permanent, not as loud. But still, in the back of his head, reminding him, haunting him.

You're like, the dream couple...

... he's hot and to the same time not an asshole, that's rare...

...he takes care of his little brother like his own child...

... that's... that's... suspicious...

And you're always so cute and sappy...

...holding your hand and kissing you on the cheek and being sweet and all...

...everything was just too... perfect about him...

He groaned and tried to shut off the words who had such a high impact on him.

...at least from what the rumors say...

...that Dean was some kind of legend in the drug scene...

...maybe he can explain. Or there might be nothing to explain...

He tried walking it off. Walking on through various corridors, walking long ways so he wouldn't pass the same person twice and appear like a crazy maniac walking in circles.

...he had no real childhood 'cause he gave it all up to assure his little brother a better one...

...Dean's a sweet guy...

...I know he can be a dick, but not to you...

Was this school day never going to end? The last days had been bad, but today... It was only lunch time, he realized with a look on the watch, which made sense since he was heading towards the cafeteria.

...he's that... bad boy with the leather jacket, those killing looks...

... that kind of guy you wouldn't surprised be with it...

...he can intimidate the bullies with just a couple of words...

Walking. Just keep walking.

...if you saw those three together...

...that's... suspicious...

... he might be bad influence on you...
