Working til breaking

(This chapter will bring some sadness, sorry my imagination says yes.) 

Mouths pass with them, and they still can't survive with each other's company making it difficult for them to work and at the same time talk and relax. One day, Kronii receives a message from no other than Amelia Watson.

Kronii, I would like to use all your clocks for a museum in the United States. Of course, I will pay you a lot per month of the staying, but I need you to be there as fast as you can be. If you don't present, I will personally stop commanding your clocks. You will stay in a hotel for one month.

At this, Kronii couldn't be happy, even if it was one of her dreams, she couldn't because that meant leaving her house and leaving Mumei alone. Because she couldn't afford two tickets and let the dogs stay alone in the house for one month. 

She decides to talk to Mumei about this, but she is still at a meeting, so Kronii must wait for her to arrive first. Animal and Time Mutt were playing together, looks like they end up becoming friends quickly after adopting them. Making Kronii think about how Mumei and she were in the first week.

Will Mumei be ok with this? Kronii gets worried and tries to calm herself with something to do

After some hours, Mumei comes tired, and Kronii sees it. Tho Mumei smiled at Kronii when she noticed her gaze.

-I am kinda sleepy, I should go and sleep, and then we can do something. says Mumei, and gets upstairs, but it's stopped by Kronii

-Wait! says Kronii, and Mumei looks at her curious

-I need to tell you something. says Kronii and gets again worried

-Is everything ok? says Mumei noticing Kronii's expression, and goes to her

-Read this. says Kronii and gives her the message from Amelia Watson

Mumei reads it but doesn't understand why Kronii is so worried. She looks at her and once again notices something wrong.

-Isn't this suppose to be good news? We can go to the United States. says Mumei and tries to cheer the Warden but doesn't work

-I can only afford one fly, and what about the dogs, Mumei? says Kronii, still worried

-Baelz can give you some money, and she can take care of your dogs. says Mumei still chill

-Baelz isn't home. says  Kronii

-hmm, Fauna? I know Sana can't. says Mumei again calm

-Hmm, let me talk to her. says Kronii and gets her phone

Kronii calls Fauna, but after she answered, she didn't get good news, Fauna had an accident on the road. Kronii was more shocked now, Mumei noticed this and questioned her, but Kronii just looked in her eyes.

-Come on Kronii, you are worrying me now. says Mumei and gets worried

-Fauna is-  not well. says Kronii tries to say it gently, but this made it worse

-What do you mean she is not well? Where is she?! says Mumei, and she feels bad

-She is... in the hospital. says Kronii, and Mumei starts crying slowly, Kronii hugged her getting her shirt wet from Mumei, but she didn't care about that

-Kronii please, don't leave me. I already heard enough. says Mumei and breaks into tears, Kronii knew it will be bad here without her but looks like this is deeper now

-I don't know what to do. says Kronii and Mumei starts to hug her even tighter 

-At least stay only with me this night, I don't feel good. says Mumei without doing anything else than just enjoying her moment with Kronii, both of them being a little red at how they are in this moment but they know they will not see each other for one month so it is ok for them to be like that right?

Mumei wants so hard to hug someone and cuddle, this two bad news she got makes her go crazy. Her two closest friends will be gone. And most importantly Kronii, because somehow Mumei couldn't imagine a day without her roommate. She knows she has something special with Kronii, something that made her choose without thinking in the dream. (she wrote her dream in a dream journal) but she still doesn't know what might be.

Kronii couldn't process a lot, but she knew that Mumei is her roommate and the best friend, she could ever have. Even Baelz told her that she changed emotionally. Well, she takes this positive and hopes Baelz meant it in a good way. She knew that she is protective of this girl, Fauna told her. But felt bad for Mumei being all alone and Fauna being hurt.

-Well, let's sit on the sofa at least, Mumei. says Kronii realizing they stayed 5 minutes in the hug 

-I am sleepy tho, though I don't want to leave this position. says Mumei and lets herself fall on Kronii while Kronii gets her worried

-Woah there, just a little, and we can get to my bed if you are that sleepy. says a worried Warden, but when Mumei heard this she smiled trying to make a smug face but couldn't at how sleepy she was tho Kronii didn't saw it at how bad she felt

Kronii could get her into her room with some effort and stays with Mumei until she sleeps. Gosh why am I so caring right now?! says Kronii in her mind and looks at how peacefully Mumei was.

She looks like she already is in her dreamland I need to get my suitcase and prepare the stuff for tomorrow. says Kronii in her mind 

-Goodnight, Mumei. says the Warden smiling softly at the peaceful girl and opens the door, but before she could leave she hears Mumei

-Stay with me. says Mumei, and when Kronii looks at her, Mumei opens her eyes and looks at Kronii with a sad face, making Kronii agree easily

-I will sleep if you sleep with me. says Mumei blushing a little, but she wanted to take a lot of advantages from this day, and this one will be one of it

Kronii couldn't believe what she got into. Mumei sees her embarrassed and smiles.

-I don't know, Mumei, I need to get ready my suitcase and- Kronii says, but it's interrupted by Mumei pinning her in bed, then she cuddles with her

Kronii was blushing hard, what is happening with her? 

Mumei couldn't think about her action too much because she was sleepy and she fell asleep more easily with Kronii by her side. While Kronii was thinking hard about what is happening, slowly, she fell asleep too.
