She was terrified, so terrified;
There were igniting fires somewhere below,
The words that came out weren't hers,
They said, "You'll be alright", but she knew she wasn't fine, she was worse.The letters wavered in the silence of the void,
She tried her best to control the sounds,
But she knew she'd always be struck with a quake,
A quake from the highest writhe awake.The 'one' sitting in the front said she was excellent,
But their mind changed with flick of her words,
They went from lightning speed from 'excellent' to 'ok',
They didn't reconsider once and left her, so there she stood.With a 'don't get disheartened' they broke her heart and crushed it,
She felt a sharp pang of something so familiar,
She cried and cried, the tears formed like crystal beads, didn't make her any prettier.She kept weeping till her eyes were sore and her nose was choked,
She kept repeating their words, imposing herself as a failure,
Trying to justify her faults which she knew would end in nothing,
She slapped herself in the face and carried her broken wings.She tried to become her cold distant self again,
But I guess a heart of ice can be thawed with words that burn,
The words that boil like the fires in hell,
So she cried and cried from dusk till dawn till she entered the oblivion of the ocean- deep well.
