I can see freedom in front of my eyes,
It burns so hot, blazing like fire,
Filled with promises and lies,
I want it so bad, it is my desire.Searching for my release,
Breathing becomes so hard,
I am so close but still so far, it's a tease,
It's pulling down my guard.Sweat dripping down my face,
It makes me all hot and vexed,
Blood running down my lips in a slow pace,
It makes me so perplexed.Freedom makes you work tough,
Puts you through pain and pleasure,
Something soft and rough,
But eventually when you find it, it's a treasure.Tastes like cherry on a Sunday afternoon,
Melts in my mouth like ice,
I know my release will come soon,
Filling my life with spice.Suddenly the air around depletes,
I cry with a loud sigh,
From my eye a drop of tear fleets,
And all my senses fly.
