The pink sky with moonlight,
Shimmering in the blue night,
It brought back memories,
When I was 13 wearing no accessories. One day you sat behind me in class,
Making jokes on how you wouldn't pass,
I laughed just to be polite,
Yeah, you're jokes weren't that nice. Now we make jokes about the past,
And how the books cannot last,
But we keep on reading them anyway,
And by the way we're on the same page with Hemingway. You remind me of the colour blue,
So I'm writing this poem about you,
You remind of all flavoured stars,
Bottled up in a candy jar.
