Transparent was the sky,
Hollow from the inside,
Emerging to be dry.Moon was still stuck up above,
Orange lights lined the streets,
Rain tore down the sheets,
Nothing is lost until it's taken away,
It was four in the morning and I was astray,
News is never good this early,
Gardens didn't bloom that day.On the earth of darkness and dismay,
Frightful sweet peas refuse to play.Dreams are now coloured with sadness of the blue,
Eternities may pass by but that day will always stay,
Carrying this stain in the heart is not an easy thing,
Everyday is reminder of what we loose and who could have saved,
Memories flow in the rivers of the mind,
Beautifully crafted moments now remind us of what he left behind,
Emeralds may be bought but he was the one that really shined,
Rain has flooded every house now, how can we peacefully dine?Forever lasts for never,
In this life nothing is constant,
Reflections in the pool of time
Show yellow flowers that burn in a flame,
Tears running down all the faces nothing will ever be the same.*This is an acrostic poem.
