She was shaken to her wake,
She sat up with her eyes grown twice their size,
There was another phase of torture to be felt,
The heart of ice was yet to be completely melt. She realized the words didn't burn,
But from where they originated was a volcano,
As if 'their' words weren't enough,
There came another one who had to prove they were rough.Their words came with slashing alphabets,
Each one vaporising her heart slower than the ones before,
She was disappointed to her core,
She wiped off the wary smile she wore. The drops never showed, she ran out of them,
She sat there in claustrophobic solitude,
She squeezed her eyes until they bled,
But they swore that they wouldn't shed. With no power to let her sorrow set loose,
The feeling was trapped inside her cage,
Like smoke inside the lungs,
That contained and choked her to death,
And she obliged with a smile, a smile of release.
