Relief...

A feeling of reassurance and relaxation following being released from anxiety or distress.

A feeling Jisung hasn't known in so long. The jitteriness in his knees, his hands fidgeting upon waiting for the release of the Jury's decision but ultimately the Judges decision.

When they released the final result and settled the course Jisungs brain was blank. His father and mother stabding up and yelling out profound words hit him like a brick.

He closed in on himself... Guards held his parents back upon the court of law.

"Mr Han Jisung you've been approved for the following 'Restraining orders will go into effect against Mr. Han Joong and Han Susanne' effective immediately."

Jisung felt his tears welling up, his hands coming up to his face. Relief washing over him, as he let his soft cries be heard.

"Mr. Han Joong upon court hearing you have been charged with the following and will receive 10 years less a day without bail for multiple criminal offences. Mrs Han Susanne court is charging you with assisted assult and possession of illegal drugs and have been sentanced 8 years with probation available after 4 years."

Jisung didn't care about his mothers charges as much as he did his fathers. His mother was a terrible person but was far less abusive. They concluded that in the investigation. He just couldn't believe he wouldn't see his parents anymore. He wouldn't be harmed again. He can live freely.

"Case is closed."

Jisung dropped out of his chair, trying to stand up. His parents yelling through the room but none of that mattered once they were pulled away.

Their words spoke louder than the actions they were doing. The name calling the belittling they kept throwing out as they were dragged out of the court.

Minho sprung into action trying to help the younger.

"Hyun-" Jisung barely choked out he tried to let it out.

"Shhh... Its okay... Not here Sung."

Jisung was so overdriven with emotions he didnt know what was real or fake. His chest pounding.

Was this relief he felt. That he could take up the next day and know he won't be traumatised.

The feeling of being secured, Minhos arms wrapped around him. His face digging into the olders chest.

Minho hasn't felt this before. This wasn't weakness Jisung was showing. This was pure shock of being free from everything he had been through these many years.

Sure it won't ever stop the fact it happened but justice was served for him.

His voice was heard finally.

"

You did it Sung!" Chan said hugging the younger who was practically in disbelief still. They were sitting in Minhos and his dorm. Chan freaked out not even realising they had cats.

Cats that were breaking the rules.

Did Chan care? Not in the slightest.

"Thank you." Jisung whispered with his raspy voice. Chan squeezed the younger earning smaller groans and maybe a giggle slipped out.

Of course he was happy.

"You can live without fear now Sung. The doctors said they could get you into therapy sessions to help with the selective mutism. You'd be able to speak again. Of course it'd take time-"
