Jisung was laying in bed, key word: was... That was till he received a phone call he didn't ever want to deal with again. His made him anxious but he had no choice but to somehow push his words out. A headache very much apparent and wasn't leaving anytime soon. His throat still sore, but functional again and was frankly bored out of his mind. It was the weekend again and Minho was busy studying for his final terms for December. Jisung knew he should probably do the same, but had no desire or effort to start. He lacked motivation and for good reason. The police had phoned in regards to the events from a few months ago. A lawyer was being given to Jisung to help get a restraining order and to put his parents in jail for longer then the average time.
"I understand... Monday..." Jisung croaked out. He wished he had someone who could talk for him at this moment but that simply wasn't the case. But of course Chan wasn't here who knew pretty much every detail, and mInho was studying. He didn't want to be a burden.
He spent nearly his whole life abused for that exact reason he didn't want it continuing and the more information they had on this investigation the more they can so to keep them away from him. So to say the least, it was the worst time to be dealing with such a personal problem at the most crucial time of the year, with a selective mutism adult.
The thoughts just made Jisung to anxious to even focus on studying, in fact, he was more worried about having to see his parents in court than anything.
Shaking the traumatising thoughts away he focused on other things. Like what was Minho to him? Sure they've kissed and sure they hang out. But what really was their title. Jisung never had a romantic party before. He didn't even know if Minho liked him the way Jisung was starting to.
He started developing some sort of emotional connection to the older it was almost terrifying to him to think about. He never let anyone in, even Chan whose been by his side for several years since highschool didn't even get that close. Only recently he somehow realised his life has changed.
Which brought Jisung to another thought. He has been living with Minho in the dorms for a few months already. The cold air was nipping at the heels of the Autumn weather. November was almost over. Jisung groaned sitting up from his bed before heading out of his own room to grab some water or coffee. He needed something to drink.
It seemed Minho too had this idea as he was in the Kitchen with headphones on pouring himself a drink while listening to who knows what. It could be podcasts, audio books, music, Jisung wouldn't know. He observed the older who didn't even seem to notice the youngers presence scrolling through his phone. Jisung couldn't help but watch really, the older looked focus, as he sipped his coffee. This side of Minho just didn't feel like him. When Jisung first met him, it was cold, off setting and very closed off.
Like himself.
How did two people who are so introverted become like this?
Minho turned back towards the kitchen table where he seemed to have had all his work out. His laptop full of cat stickers, his textbooks sprawled out across the table. If Jisung wanted to work there, itd be useless, there would be no space with the clutter. Minho even had an endtable pulled to his left side for his coffee and phone.
Jisung smiled slightly before sneaking his way towards the coffee now that Minho wad out of the way. Pulling a coffee-mocha pod out, and setting his cup under the keurig.
Watching it intently drizzle coffee splattering it along the sides of the cup. Mesmerised, by such a simple thing. Warmth, at his finger tips, practically telling him the outside chill doesn't exist.
He sipped his mocha. Turning to see Minho had pulled his earbuds out and was starring at the younger.
"Yes?" Jisung timidly spoke. Minhos cat like eyes watched him. It was awkward.
"Chan wants to know if you want to go out for food?" Minho calmly spoke looking away quickly.
"No, I'm just gonna stay in tonight... Lots of studying to do... You know." Jisung bitterly laughed at his lame excuse.
"You're a terrible liar Han." Minho laughed lowly, "you've bately ate in the few days and I know for a fact you weren't studying because your books have been sitting beside the couch since wednesday.
Jisung flushed red, caught red handed in lying.
"I didn't say I was studying now... I said I was going to." Trying to recover from the lie. A white lie, he knew damn well he wouldn't be studying. He more or less needed to find a way to converse with the lawyer Monday.
Minho stood up quickly from his spot meeting Jisung halfway through the kitcben. Jisung slightly stumbled back at the olders actions. He found himself at the counter.
"Han, when was the last time you actually ate a decent meal? That wasn't me feeding you soup, a few days ago?" Minho grabbed the glass that happened to be shaking in my hand before setting it down on the counter. Jisungs breathing hitched.
It wasn't like he, wasn't hungry, of course he was... But being stressed didn't help that one bit.
"I-"
Curse him and his damn anxiety. Curse him and his damn inability to talk anytime he got nervous with direct conversations about his health and habits.
"Han, cheese cake by the way is not proper food. So you can't use that as an excuse either."
Minho was making up stupid scenerios on behalf of Jisung. It was honestly quite amusing to both of them. Cause if Jisung had the ability to talk in that moment he probably would have said something along those lines.
Minho stepped closer, now being only a singular step away. Jisung bolted from being tapped or encased more. It was suffocating to say the least.
The door was knocked on but no voice was herd. Both of them turning their attention to it. Jisung ceased up immediately, thinking it was Hyunjin.
Minho sighed carefully walking to the door before opening it. Arms being tossed around his neck.
Deep raven colored hair bolted into thier dorm earning heavy huffs from the older.
"Minho-hyung!" A deep voice trickled through the room. Jisung stared in confusion as to who dared hug Minho so aggressively.
"Felix?" Minho responded quickly.
Felix? Jisung cocked his head.
"Well of course! I had to come see my brother!" The raven boy named Felix jumped up and down. "Is Chan-Hyung here? He said we were meeting for supper? Why aren't you dressed?"
Jisung stood dumbly at the scene infront of him as Minho sighed exasperately.
Felix finally realised they weren't the only two in the room.
"Ooh... You have a roomie? Since when?"
"Felix-" minho went to stop him when the raven jumped towards the new face. Jisung stumbled back from his rock formed place in instant panic.
"Hi! I'm Felix, Minhos broth-" Felix was cut off being dragged away by his brother. Jisung shaking his head and turning to hide once he was out of sight slamming his own door shut. His heart racing. He wasn't expecting to be approached so quickly like that.
His coffee long forgotten on the counter.
He didn't want to go anywhere now. Definitely not now.
