"Jisung! We never wanna hear your voice in this house! It's annoying." His mother would state with her voice laced with annoyance. His father always agreed drunkenly or yell some other profanity at the young male.

"Why don't you talk?" young kids in his class would taunt him while Jisung gets shoved to the ground. no one helps him as he struggles to breathe.

"Are you a freak?" As he is pinned to lockers during high school. once pushed around, not once fighting back he would hide and rip at his own throat for being so weak.

"Say something!" The teachers would demand only making him scratch at his arms and legs with fear.

"Right... we forgot you're just a mute." The shadows whispered in his ears. he would cover them to stop the loud sounds that screamed at him with each passing day.

These are things, Jisung heard on a daily, All his life, he only longed to be heard. he longed to be accepted for who he was. Jisung couldn't approach or talk to anyone anymore. through his childhood he closed himself off, trying to stay silent in the household of where it all started. knowing he should get himself diagnosed, he never had the ability to seek the help he desperately needed. He knew by the time his teenage years came he had started suffering PTSD, which has triggered what was known as 'Selective Mutism.' His voice just seemingly disappeared when he tried to speak out. Broken, along with being shoved around, beaten he couldn't speak to the people around him, he couldn't rely on family or friends. Jisung couldn't even speak to his parents anymore, scared of being hurt.

He was alone, that's what he believed.

One thing that became his serenity and life support was music. It's become the safe haven he needed, a place of solitude where he can let his voice be heard without anyone knowing its really him.

That's how he lived... Well used to... Until this guy came around, pestering him to no ends. Would sit with him just blabbering away, not trying to make him talk... If Jisung had it his way, he would of had it remained a secret, never to be known if it wasn't for one person...

His name...

Lee Minho...

A third year medical student, who kept to himself as much as the next guy did. Smart, handsome yet came across as cold, stand-off-ish, and had a temper. Setting him off meant being seen in the hospital wing for possible emotional trauma. His blunt words, were only the truth being spoken in his mind. His family was well off, but he felt like the lone wolf. off set from the family who seemed happier without him around.

Minho kept to himself for the most part.

His get away was the music made by the male who goes by J-One. The voice kept him at bay, calm and made him feel like someone was listening to his pleas.

One day, he simply ran into the mute of the school, only to discover there was more than what meets the eye.

A voice.

More than words can describe.

He slipped into a state he wished he didn't fall for again, but he had all these questions, with no answers and was determined to know more about Han Jisung the Mute boy of the university.
