Hello Soulies...

This note is a hard conversation that I really wanted to address. It isn't just Stray Kids I will be addressing but the communities in general. And I know hate is going to come with this note and if i lose people because of my opinion its what ever.

Because this topic that im seeing everywhere is honestly the cruelest and most pathetic thing I've seen in a long time coming from a community that I've loved since 2008 before I fell into the kpop community. Before it was blown up into the genre it is today.... before Straykids debuted. Before stay became a name and a community where misfits and people who needed a home and a place to belong joined together.

FIRST, I don't think people understand and are over thinking of this situation regarding Chans room... this is going way too far in my opinion. Chan and the company probably have their reasons. And by no means are they obligated to give us actual answers.

Stick with me here okay... i know someone will say 'but Soulie why are you supporting this? You should be sad Channies room isn't here anymore?'

Yes, its sad... but I honestly also think its best for us, for Chan and for all stays sanity. For stays who have relied on a 1 to 2 hour stream weekly, yes its an outlet to escape the real world but we have other reasons to be living and its not like he isnt there supporting us like we should be for him and the other members.

Whether this was Chans personal preference or not isn't our business. stopping the Chans room because trying to keep up with the STAY community expectation or not isnt our business. Whether the issue regarding "specific conversations that create scandals" that the company doesnt want to deal with is probably by far the most lamest excuse ive heard from STAYS.

Not everything is the companies fault.

Im sorry if that sounds harsh, but Stray Kids will not be there for us forever just like family, just like friends, just like pets....

we will one day need to find a new meaning. Channies room is not what makes us STAY.. Stray Kids is what makes us STAY... channies room only was an added bonus that was a privilege to have and it wasn't always going to be there.

Stray kids have grown from being less than 5 million people back in 2019 up to over 25 million!

They still have a private life, they still have school, and family and relationships (that we don't know of) on top of their careers. We can not NOT expect them to not move forward. They will move forward in the direction that benefits them.

Chan is a human being with a huge pile of extra boulders on his shoulders.

He was expected to converse with us through a live stream that he started on his own terms and has every right to stop when he so pleases. The automatic assumption that is required that HE HAS TO DO a stream every sunday at 7PM sharp is blurred by The communities greed. It suddenly became an expectation for him because WE MADE it a requirment.

That mental stability in his life where he deserves time to himself should be given to him. That man will walk water for stays. The over bearing weight of being this perfect Idol takes a toll on him too. Hes put in this spotlight of being one of the most perfect Leaders out there in the KPOP industry.

He doesn't sleep well, he has problems eating as hes explained before, he cant gain weight or loses it too quick. He has lessons every day and through out the night. He build tracks, composes, and arranges. His schedules packed with expectations that are already hard to meet. He has a career and life he wants to build and sometimes the reality of it is.. he needs to lose something to gain something.

He needs two steps back to go 10 steps forward.

Chans room was a privilege not a requirement under his contract.

Bubble is a privilege not a requirement for all the members of JYPE or other idol companies.

Instagram is a privilege not a god damn requirement.

These blinded communities that assume its a requirement need a reality check.

STAY we are a blessed community and regardless of the situation, Chans room doesn't need a explanation as to why its been stopped indefinitely.

SECONDLY, Han Jisung with his song "miserable" recently... Yes its a rough, heart breaking song that was probably taken out of context. BUT WE DO NOT KNOW the reason for the song. The song can be 6 years old for all we know. We know he has his random burst of inspirational music and lyrics at the randomest of times. It was like his song he released with Seungmin. The automatic response by STAY "omg bbahma died" by every freaking stay was blown way out of control. That not only did we get an appology and an explanation but the fact HAN had to gather his words and thoughts with the overwhelming over thinking good for nothing assumptions before he could even explain the truth behind the song.

He is a brilliant lyricist and is known for connecting to his audience.

Thats being said we can not assume that in the very moment he was hurt or broken or in a slump anytime he writes "heart breakin" songs. Yes naturally we can see videos of him feeling down recently. We all have those moments. Some worse than others. HAN has a support system. He had been open about his social anxiety and that takes a toll on ones body with a schedule like his and to ANY of the kpop idols community in general.

Seriously, the community ranges from kids who are barely old enough to understand an emotional heart breaking song, to people who are in their 90s and reading between lines and building 500 case scenerios and young adults who can build a story and write 30 chapters about one song an idol makes.

We need to understand they are humans and have lives and their soul purpose is to live for themselves and not for others. They are a blessing for us. They make our lives easier so we shouldn't make theirs harder by "demanding anything."

They don't owe us anything! They owe themselves their pride and happiness.

Again im sorry if this is egotistical of me. Im a rather blunt and think reality.

I don't believe in dreams. I believe in hardwork, dedication and taking the first step to fullfill your dream. The dream doesn't just come to you. I am a realistic person. You earn by working for it.

Sorry if i upset or offended my soulies or any stays or other kpop communities in general.

But i won't apologise for my own belief.
