He sighed harshly. "It's so annoying."

"What is?" Jeno queried.

"The fact that she isn't mine."

Jeno's jaw dropped. He blinked, attempting to comprehend what had just left his friend's mouth. How can he say that so casually when the person he was talking about was his twin sister?

"Donghyuck," he said in horror. "Do you realize—"

"I'm so sober right now, Jeno," he cut off.

"Wow," Jeno's eyes widened. "I am speechless."

He let out an exasperated sigh. "Ridiculous, I know."

"That's not what I mean. You can fall in love with her. Nothing is wrong with that," Jeno said, tapping his shoulder.

"I'm so embarrassed." His face turned red.

"Why would you?"

"Because I go around saying I hate her with my entire being for the past four years and I have a crush on her now? I sound stupid."

Jeno's brows furrowed. "You're making it sound ridiculous. You can fall in love with someone you hate. That means you grow as a person and learn to love instead of hate."

Jeno is the most open-minded friend you can ever ask for.

He threw his head back. "Damn. I don't know."

"When did you realize it?"

He raised a brow at Jeno. "Realize what?"

"Realize your feeling for Jihyuck."

He shut his eyes tight, grabbing his hair. "Bro, I can't talk about this. This is so embarrassing." His head felt dizzy.

Jeno exploded into laughter. "This is so funny!"

"Shut up, asshole."

"You know what?" Jeno asked as his laughter faded. "Renjun and I had noticed it a long time ago."

He frowned. "Noticed what?"

"That you like Jihyuck."

"No, you guys didn't," he said. Terror peeking through his voice. Not even himself was aware that he liked her.

"Yes, Donghyuck," Jeno responded with a playful smile tugged at his lips. "But don't worry, she's like you. She'd never imagine you to fall for her."

"You can't tell her, Jeno."

Jeno couldn't hold his laughter. "You look so scared right now."

"Bitch, don't play with me," Donghyuck warned through his clenched jaw. He tugged at his arm. "Jeno, I'm not kidding. She can't know about this."
