"Hey, guys, ever notice how the cartoons we watch are kind of just like our missions?" Mikey asked, sitting in the main room watching Crognard.

"Seriously?" Leo responded. "You're reading way too much into a cartoon show, Mikey."

"Speaking of missions, I know what our next one should be," Raph stated, punching the dummy with Nyx. "Shredder."

Astra rolled her eyes, sharing a look with Leo.

"Why don't we take him down once. And. For. All?" Nyx growled, giving the dummy a hit with every word until it flew off its hold and across the room.

"Maybe because we've faced him before and still can't win," Lucian muttered under his breath.

"Because of that impulsive and overemotional state right there," Raya replied with a smirk.

"Who are you calling impulsive and overemotional!?" Nyx snapped. She paused. "No, wait. Heard it as I said it."

"Honestly, I'd go more with hotheaded," Mikey said.

Raph growled and lunged at him, tackling him to the floor. Leo and Astra sighed and went to help Mikey, when a loud bang sounded from the entrance.

Donnie and Samirah ran out of their lab. 

"Whoa! What was that?" Samirah demanded.

"Did Raph finally blow a gasket? 'Cause we got spares," Donnie added.

Raph stopped shaking Mikey as they heard someone walk through the entrance. Pepper turned her head to see Leatherhead come down the steps, collapsing onto the floor.

"Mutants."

Pepper jumped to her feet and ran over, the others close behind. 

"Are you okay?" Astra asked.

"Can't you see he's terrible?" Mikey responded, hugging the gator. "Look at his adorable yet tortured gator face. Aww." 

Astra rolled her eyes. "Okay, stupid question."

"Michelangelo is right," Leatherhead said, pushing himself to his feet. "I bring dire news. Slash and Rockwell have been captured by Tigerclaw."

Pepper's blood chilled. Oh no... My vision...

"What? Why?" Raya asked.

"He said they could be of use to 'him'," the gator responded.

"Give you one guess who 'him' is," Nyx said, folding her arms.

"Yeah, that guy who does the thing with the thing." Mikey paused for a moment. "I have no idea who you're talking about."

Nyx smacked him in the head. "Shredder."

"So if Slash and Rockwell were captured, and you're here, what happened to Pigeon Pete?" Samirah asked.

As if on cue, Pete flew into the lair, laughing, only to slam into a wall.

Raph groaned. "Oh, not Pigeon Pete."

"Wow. Now, this is a secret lair," Pete said, looking around in awe. He flew over to the tire swing.

"Anyone but Pigeon Pete."

"A tire swing!' Pete darted to the pinball machine. "Is that a real Space Heroes pinball machine?? You ask me, the only thing this place needs is some bread."

"We got better than bread." Mikey opened a pizza box. "Pizza crust, brah."

Pete flew into Mikey, knocking him over. He grabbed a piece of crust and started pecking at it. Pepper could almost see the fireworks going off in his head. "Oh, where have you been all my life??"
