Metalhead Rewired

Pepper and the others stood in the dojo, watching as Donnie finished booting up Metalhead. As Metalhead observed them, something told Pepper she seriously wasn't gonna like this...

"I give you, the new and improved Metalhead!" Donnie said.

"Whoa..." Mikey said in awe. Pepper arched a brow. New and improved?

"Samirah and I have been upgrading his artificial intelligence, so he'll be the perfect training tool," Donnie explained.

"You sure? Training with Metalhead usually ends up in him breaking something," Leo replied. Pepper could neither confirm nor deny that as they began circling the bot, weapons drawn.

"We've programmed him to simulate dozens of fighting styles, including the Foot and the Kraang," Samirah said.

"Pssh, can't simulate my fighting style," Mikey retorted.

Pepper rolled her eyes. "Well, we might as well test him."

Raph twirled his sais. "Let's just go already." 

He leapt at the bot. Metalhead fired up his rockets and flew at Raph, punching him and knocking him sprawling. Metalhead landed in front of him, and Leo leapt at him from behind. Metalhead caught Leo's katana, kicked him a few times, and then sent him flying into the wall. Metalhead threw Leo's katana at Astra, who ducked, and the katana stuck in the wall above her head.

Donnie lunged at Metalhead. The bot dodged, then leapt backward and grabbed the staff. He spun around, throwing Donnie and his staff across the room. Then Metalhead's hand changed to a blaster and he began shooting at Samirah, who dodged the shots easily.

Nyx and Raya ran at Metalhead from either side, Raya twirling her chain. A panel opened across Metalhead's eyes and small laser darts shot out at the two of them. They used their weapons to block, and Metalhead turned his laser's fire on them, backing away. 

Astra and Pepper exchanged looks, nodding at each other. They ran at Metalhead from behind, and Astra swung her cord toward the robot's laser arm. The cord wrapped around, but Metalhead simply spun, dragging Astra with him. Pepper leapt forward, bringing down her sword, but Metalhead slammed Astra into her and knocked them both sprawling.

Metalhead then turned to Mikey and his laser transformed back into his hand. He shot his fist at Mikey, which slammed into him and grabbed him by the face.

The robot's fist flew around the dojo, carrying Mikey with it. "Get it off!" he screamed. 

Raph got back to his feet and turned to Metalhead, but Mikey knocked him right back down again. He slammed into Leo and Donnie and sent them sprawling. Pepper and the girls had the sense to stay low enough that they didn't get hit.

"Yame," Sensei ordered.

They all knelt in front of him, save for Mikey, who only screamed louder. "Can I get off the ride now?"

"Donatello, Samirah," Sensei said sternly.

Samirah turned to Metalhead. "Metalhead, stop training program," she ordered.

The robot beeped, the fist returning to him. Mikey collapsed in front of them. "Oh! I think he put my chin up my nose," he groaned.

"I'm sorry, Sensei, but overall, I think that was a successful test," Donnie said.

Leo glared at him. "Successful? Metalhead almost ripped Mikey's face off!"

"Please. We had it under control," Donnie retorted, crossing his arms.

"And when you don't?" Leo demanded angrily.

"Donatello and Samirah have made a powerful tool. It is to our advantage to study an enemy's techniques. But, you must use that tool wisely," Sensei said.
