Annihilation: Earth! Part 1

"Whoa, that Triceraton sounds so cool," Casey said, in the Shellraiser with Pepper, her siblings, and April. "I wish I could have fought a real, live dino-dude."

Raph rolled his eyes. "Yeah, right. That dino-dude would have stomped you into a Casey puddle in about five seconds flat."

"Whatever, Raph. Casey Jones eat dinosaur meat for breakfast."

"Ugh." April shook her head. "I'm just amazed that there are more aliens out there in the universe other than the Kraang."

"I hate to break up the conversation, guys, but someone's been following us for the last five blocks or so," Donnie called.

April blinked. "Weird. I don't sense anyone at all."

"See for yourself," Samirah invited, nodding at the screen.

"It's a Kraang," Casey stated.

"Stay on him, Pepper!" Donnie called.

The car pulled in front of the Shellraiser and Pepper floored the vehicle to follow it. She pulled into a dead-end alley and killed the engine, jumping out with the others. The other car was nowhere in sight.

"He's gone."

"Check it out!" Astra called, motioning at the message left on the wall for them. "Mutants. 3117 Bayfront Street. Midnight."

"What's that supposed to be--his logo?" Mikey asked, pointing at the mark beneath the message.

"It's a chess piece," Lucian responded. "A bishop."

At midnight, they found themselves outside 3117 Bayfront Street. 

"For the record, I still think this is a terrible idea, Pepper," Raph said. "It's got to be a trap."

"Noted," Pepper said. "Something's up. And I'm gonna find out what."

"Dudes, this is the same meat warehouse we fought Tigerclaw and Lucian in," Mikey said, hanging off the building. "Come on, I know a back entrance." He jumped down and ran for the warehouse, Pepper and the others close behind.

They made their way into the warehouse and hid among the rafters the meat hooks hung from. Pepper gave them a signal to keep quiet as a Kraang-droid in human disguise and sunglasses entered the room, only for Casey to run across the rafters.

"Casey, stop!"

"Goongala!" Casey jumped down and the droid stepped out of the way, the hockey stick slamming into the floor.

The droid shoved one of the frozen meat slices into Casey, grabbed his hockey stick, and pulled him to hit the meat again. Casey released his weapon and stumbled back, falling to the floor. Everyone but Lucian and Pepper drew their weapons and jumped down. Pepper moved to get down but Lucian grabbed her shoulder, the ravenette putting a finger to his lips.

"Do not do this," the droid said.

Leo and April helped Casey sit up as Raph, Donnie and Mikey charged the droid all at once. The droid knocked Raph and Donnie into the frozen meat and hit Mikey with the hockey stick, knocking them down. Raya triggered the extra lengths of chain in her kusarifundo and threw one end at the droid while Astra threw her cord at him from the other side. The droid dropped the hockey stick in favor of grabbing both the chain and the cord and pulling on them fiercely, slamming Raya and Astra into each other and sending them both sprawling. Samirah threw a handful of her shuriken at the droid, who dodged the small projectiles before grabbing Nyx's wrists as she tried to attack him with her shoto. He threw her into Samirah and they both went down.
