Waiting until first period was well in session, Eddie and I make our way back out to the parking lot. Dipping behind the cars to hide from the overlooking classrooms. Only once we were safely in his van and escaping the school grounds could I feel eyes on me. Looking back I see Billy, face set, watching us drive away. He looked angry, but I do not care.
"So where should we go?" I start as we merge on to the main road.
"Well ... normally I would suggest my spot in the woods, or skull rock. But it's October and we will freeze, which isn't a great move. If you're comfortable we could go back to my trailer? My uncle won't be about so it'll be quiet" He shrugs, "If not, I have a friend who lives near lover's lake but it's a bit of a drive, or of course, we could head back to yours" He glances over to me with a smile before concentrating back on the road.
"I'm okay with going to yours if you are" I shrug with a smile before looking down at my hands, "My dad's on nights this week so my place is a no go"
"To the shire it is then" He concedes happily as he takes the next turning.

Eddie's place was set back in the trailer park giving them more privacy than some of the other plots. The back faced the nearby woods while the front was road side. Outside the front door was a raised porch with an old swing bench and a roll out canopy. It wasn't much, but it looked like a home.
Turning onto the gravel of the parking spot outside, Eddie cuts the engine before turning to me. "Welcome to the Munson Smial*" he beams, jumping out of his side of the van and making his way round to open the passenger side for me "Right this way", he bounds up the steps to open the front door. "after you" he bows slightly to let me pass, making me laugh lightly at his chivalry.
*Smial ~ The word used in The Hobbit/LOTR to describe their homes. Non-Hobbits call them Hobbit-Holes.
Entering the room I immediately felt at ease. His house was lived in, warm and inviting. Throws and blankets layered the couch, books littered the floors and lined the shelves. The signs of life in this home told the story of the type of comfort that money can't buy. A safe consistency to life that made my whole body relax. "It's not much" Eddie shrugs as he shuts the front door, joining me in the middle of the room, "But it's home" he smiles warmly at me before slipping off his leather jacket and chucking it over the arm chair before padding over to sit on the floor in front of the couch.
My jaw damn near dropped when he took off his jacket revealing his Judas Priest shirt was sleeveless. His tattooed arms look stronger than I had expected them to, they flexed slightly as he started to roll a joint. I mentally scramble to stop drooling and pick up my jaw as I make my way over to him, sitting on the couch to watch, as he expertly licks the rolling paper. Shivers go down my spine at the sight of it, Why is that so hot? I ask myself before he leans his head back and offers up his creation to me, "Ladies First".
I recline on the couch as I light up, exhaling to create a large cloud of smoke above my head, passing it on to Eddie who is still looking up at me with those doe eyes of his twinkling. "I'm more of a bong or pipe girl myself" I muse as I lay my head back down.
"We'll get to that Sweetheart" he replies amused "I like to start off slow and ease into it". I feel pressure next to me as he pushes himself up to my level "Hey Y/N?" He asks excitedly.
I turn my head towards his voice opening my eyes to see him hovering above me, a mischievous look in his eyes. I lift my head slightly when I take the J back from him "Yes Fan boy?".
"Have you ever had an apple pipe?" His smile growing wider as I tilt my head in confusion at his question.
"What's an apple pipe?"
