After graduating to the bong and giggling our way through a few more songs, me and Eddie find ourselves laying top and tail on his mattress facing up to the ceiling. He has put on a Led Zeppelin album as we lay, rose eyed, talking and laughing about nothing in particular.

"Hey Eddie?" I call up to him from the base of the bed, lifting my head slightly.

"Hmm" he perks up as he hears my voice.

"Will you read to me?"

Now sitting up, he looks at me with a curious puppy dog tilt to his head before turning to his book shelf, "Sure sweetheart, but I don't know how long I'll be able to read for" he answers with a chuckle. I roll on to my side as he starts towards the books, taking in his scruffy brunette mop and muscular shoulders. He turns, book in hand, catching me mentally drooling over him. A knowing smile graces his lips before he says, "How about The Hobbit?" lifting up the book to show me.

"Perfect" I smile, as he pads his way back over to the bed, sitting down on the floor and leaning his head against the side. I sit up, swinging my legs off the bed either side of his shoulders as I start to absentmindedly rake my fingers softly through his messy hair. "Can I plait your hair?" I ask playfully, leaning down close to his ear to whisper, "I promise to be gentle". A blush finds its way to his cheeks as he peeks up at me, nodding in agreement before turning his attention to the book. Opening it and starting to read; In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit...

I played with Eddie's hair for a long time, he was nearly two chapters in before I decided to tie it in a low bun, letting his shorter hairs fall forward to frame his face. We stopped for yet another hit before I bumped down off the bed to sit next to him on the floor. It had started to rain outside somewhere in all of this, the gentle patter providing a calming white noise in the trailer but I soon found myself shivering.

"Are you cold?" Eddie asks, pausing his story telling.

"A little" I admit, groaning when he pushes up off the floor and out the room.

"Wait here a sec" he calls before coming back in with a blanket from the couch. "Come here", he wraps me in the blanket before sliding down to sit beside me. Wrapping an arm around me, pulling me into his side. I feel safe and content as I relax into his hug eventually laying my head down on his lap as he continues to read to me.

"Thank you" I murmur happily interrupting his reading, looking up at him through my lashes, "Do you really not want to go to this party Eddie? I imagined you'd like Halloween - the most metal holiday of them all" I laugh at my own thought, Eddie smirking before joining me. Abandoning the book to wrap me up in a cuddle as we both start cry - laughing.

"I do love Halloween Y/N" he chuckles, lowering his head to my shoulder, "It's just all the people I'm not a fan of" he mumbles close to my ear.

Oblivious to his slightly flirtation behaviour by my dulled brain I start, "If you DID go to the party, what would you dress as?" wriggling free of my blanket I turn over to sit on my knees facing him, "I think you'd make a good Alice Cooper"

"I don't know really. I've always liked the idea of a pirate." meeting my gaze "Don't you think I'd make a good rogue?" He says lifting an eyebrow at me.

I laugh playfully hitting him on the chest "A scoundrel maybe" I joke before he tackles me back to the floor eliciting a fit of giggles as he tickles my sides.

"Oh do I look like a scoundrel to you?" He laughs as he quits tickling me, rolling over to lay flat on the floor next to me with glee on his face. Turning his head to me only after our laughs have died down with a hard to read look on his face, "Is Billy really bothering you Sweetheart?"
