Just A Normal Day

On a fine morning, a loud ringing sound broke out in the small house which looked kinda messy with stuffs all over the place.

A guy's sleep was disturbed as he woke up on hearing the sound of his phone ringing.He turned over to see his friends were still sound asleep

"Do you know what time it is?" questioned the guy as he tried to reach out to his mobile

"Idk yaar... it feels like 4 in the morning", one of the guys, Sameer replied as he rolled over continuing his sleep.

"It's 11 A.M, you idiot!!!", Shiv exclaimed as he looked at his phone.

"What!?"

The rest of the guys shouted in unison as they got up instantly.

"I thought you set the alarm at 6", Sameer asked Veer with a confused frown.

"But I told you to do it as I was too tired last night", he defended himself.

They stared at each other in disbelief for a few good seconds.

"Are we gonna stare at each other all day or are we gonna get to work?" asked Aarav, breaking their staring game

"Hmm... I think we should definitely get to work right now", Shiv replied nodding as they went their way to get ready.

"Oh man, it's the fourth time in two months", Veer said with a sigh

"Think we'll break our own record", Sameer chuckled as he closed the door behind.

At work

"Wow! I didn't expect you guys to be this early", said Mr.Patel to the guys

"Thank God! I thought he would be so angry",  Veer whispered

"You better shut up before he hears you", replied Aarav which made Veer understand the situation.

"Sir.. it's... we promise you that we would never be late again", Shiv tired to ease the situation.

"Isn't that the hundredth time you've said that?" asked Mr.Patel, letting out a laugh

The guys were dead silent.

"I'll deal with you guys later.Now get to work", he said, sending them off

"Yaar, I really thought we were dead today", Sameer said.

"Should we visit the City Hall to collect the information required for our mission?"

Aarav mentioned one of the many things they have to do today.

"Wait... I need to have breakfast before that", Shiv almost shouted

The guys thought for a while

"Yeah, food is necessary for work", they agreed and went to get their breakfast

At home

The day was rough for them, but nothing far from the usual. They returned home after 12.

"Damn I thought we could come home early", Veer said, grabbing the keys from mailbox.

"Yes, maybe if the information was easy to locate", replied Shiv

"Just unlock the damn door.... I'm so hungry"

"Bold of you to assume that dinner is ready for you inside", Sameer replied in a sarcastic tone

"What? I'm not cooking again", Aarav protested.

"But you are the best cook, Aarav", the three guys joined to convince him.

But Aarav wasn't giving in. So they had to order pizza for their dinner.

"What a tiring day",Veer muttered in an almost inaudible tone.

The bed was as messy as it was in the morning which wasn't anything close to a real problem to the guys. For them, it was paradise.

"Just another normal day", Sameer thought as the guys dozed off to sleep
