Sameer's POV

We were watching Shiv as he was busily talking with Ishita. And we kind of knew what was brewing between them.

Awesome!! Time for more teasing.

Aarav headed to wait on some more customers just when Mr. Patel came to us.

"Guys... you should go to this party as waiters. It's at 7 pm", he said in a serious tone as he handed us some paperworks which looked like some proof of invitation.

"Wait.... What party!?" Veer asked, being confused

"It's thrown by Rahul Varma and luckily we got the perfect cover up to enter the party"

"That sounds like a good opportunity to learn more about him", I said.

"And....", Mr. Patel continued.

Based on his hesitation, I guessed he had some work for us and I was right. But it wasn't one of the works I expected.

"This is my friend's daughter. He is here for a cup of coffee with me. Can you guys take care of her for 20 minutes?" he said as he left us with the little girl.

Cool... now we have to babysit.

What else should I do for being an undercover spy?

"So can we play?" Veer asked her as we knelt down to face her.

Gladly, she was really sweet and cooperative. She was hitting us playfully with her teddy bear.

My mind travelled back to my previous encounter with Shreya.

Maybe, it made me smile like a fool. Because Veer gave me a weird look.

I should get myself checked

As we were playing, her doll accidentally fell into the water fountain that our café had to maintain the classy look.

She looked at her now wet teddy bear and started crying out loud......

......Loud enough for the whole café to look at us but not her father.

I didn't know what to do so I picked her up trying to calm her down while Veer was trying the same.

"Bro, dry it up", I panicked, pointing at the teddy.

"How am I supposed to do that!? I'm not a hot air blower!!!", he cried, holding the teddy bear.

Shreya's POV

Oh my God!!! I was so eager to get here to meet Mr. Intruder.

But not in this way. I came here all calm, composed and prepared

Everything was fine till the waiter took my order. As we heard a sudden loud cry of a child, I turned to look at the source of the sound.

There I saw him playing with a little girl, making cute faces at her to stop her from crying and his hair was a mess, a beautiful mess indeed.

It was... it was dreamy. So dreamy that I didn't realise I was staring too long.

"Anything else mam?" the waiter asked, trying to divert me from the commotion.

"Him!?" he asked in confusion.

So definitely that waiter guy noticed that I was looking at him. I came up with the most absurd interpretation of his question.

"No!! Not him, I just need a Cappuccino", I said, feeling embarrassed.
