Veer's POV

We were searching through the racks of a fishy place.

No.... I'm not over dramatic.

This place really looks like it is a burnt garage. And we are here to collect information about some shady business man named Rahul Varma.

We had to take down at least 20 guards to enter into this place. And we got half an hour more before the whole troops arrive here.

Damn... I hate my job sometimes

"FOUND SOMETHING?!?" Aarav asked in frustration, more like shouting in frustration.

"Are we even in the right place?" Shiv sighed, tired.

"There must be something here...", Sameer said, looking around the room.

"I don't think so, yaar. I am really done with th...", I complained, leaning against the wall which felt jello for some odd reason.

Losing my balance, I tripped and fell into a room that I newly discovered.

"Are you alright?" Shiv asked, entering the secret room behind the wall.

"Yeah"

"You're a bloody genius", Sameer gleamed, lending his hand out to me for support.

"We don't have much time", Aarav said. I wonder how he becomes serious when it comes to work.

We searched the room and found some papers. To be more specific, it was all newspapers. He seemed to be collecting newspapers.

Not so villiany of him

"These newspapers point to the same incident", Shiv said as he scanned through each of the newspapers.

"It's about a crime... but the words aren't clear",Sameer said trying to make out the words.

"Maybe, try a different newspaper", I suggested, passing the one in hand.

"Can anyone else smell it?" Aarav asked in the dead silent room.

"Something's burning?" Shiv asked

"Maybe it's because we haven't ate anything since lunch", I joked.

No one laughed. Rude!!!!

My concerns were replaced by a strong smell.

It was something like.....

"FIRE", Sameer uttered in horror

And that's it!! It didn't take long for the whole garage to be engulfed in fire and smoke.

"We should leave", I warned.

"But the newspaper—", Aarav hesitated as he moved his hands frantically over the bunch of papers that were on fire.

"At least we've got one", Sameer cut him off as he held his hand dragging Aarav along.

We somehow managed to escape the building before the fire was too intense.

Taking our seats on the bare grass giving us the time to calm down, we stared at the scenery in front of us.

"Is everyone alright?" I asked just to be sure

"Yeah... I guess", Sameer answered.

"Do you think it was a set up?" Shiv asked, unsure.
