"You guys have really grown up", the old man in the orphanage patted Aarav's shoulder as he looked at them with adoration.
"Time just flies so fast", Veer said, smiling.
"That's right beta", the man smiled back.
"We should visit more often but you know our work always has us busy", Sameer said apologitically.
"It's okay. I can understand the pressure of work life. After all, I have worked all my life in making this place a home for all these children", he said, reminiscing about his own life.
"You are really doing a great job and we could never thank you enough for providing us a home when we never had one.....", Shiv said gratefully.
"If you don't mind, can we have a tour around this orphanage?" Veer requested.
"Do you have to ask this? Go head son", he said happily.
Everyone left but Sameer decided to stay behind.
"You don't wanna go? Seems like something is bothering you", the old man said, looking at him.
"Actually... I wanted to know about the scam that happened here", Sameer started hesitantly.
The man stood there speechless, not knowing what to say.
"How... How did you know?" the man asked, adjusting his glasses.
"I heard the news about it somehow and I need to know", Sameer said intently like he wanted him to say it wasn't true.
Now there was evident tension in between the two of them.
"I needed to hear it from you."
"No!!! That's the biggest regret of my life. I wanna dig a deep hole and leave it in there forever to rot", the man shouted, losing his control.
"But—", Sameer didn't know how to convince him to open up.
"I should have never trusted Ram and Varma...", he said, breaking down on his knees.
The names left Sameer in frozen. His face was drained of all the colours. A lot of questions clouded his mind, leaving him confused.
"I'm... sorry", Sameer stammered, his feet moving back on their own even if his hands rose at his side to comfort the old man.
He left the room hastily.

"This will be easy", Shiv said.
"We got used to all these places so it won't be a big deal", Aarav said as Sameer walked to them
"So where's the target?" Sameer asked composing himself as he joined the rest of the guys.
"According to our research, the target is at the prayer hall", Veer said.
"Can we get to it? Or should we wait", Aarav asked as a little boy walked past us.
"Hey bro!!", Sameer called out as the boy looked at us in surprise.
"Do you guys have any prayer sessions today?" he asked him.
"Yes Bhaiya. I'm going there now ", he replied.
"Do you have any idea when it will end?" Shiv asked.
"Hmm... Maybe in half an hour", he replied as he thought.
"Thank you, chotu", Veer said, messing up his hair in an act of affection.
They entered the hall as a lot of kids gathered there.
"We have to wait for sometime after everyone leaves and work on our mission", Shiv instructed in a low tone.
After half an hour, the people in the hall began to leave as the four of them stayed back.
