Aarav's POV

Last night was amazing till it wasn't. I was drinking with Diya and we may even have got indulged in some cosy moments.

Guess we better make it official soon.

But that's not the problem right now. The goons, they were on the run for us.

Sameer kept pacing around the room with stress written all over his face for the past 15 minutes. And he wasn't anywhere near stopping

"Chill dude, are you trynna dig a hole in the ground or something?" I asked, trying to calm him down but it quite had the opposite effect.

"How can I chill, Aarav!?!?" he almost yelled in my face.

"He's right. I guess we are in danger", Veer joined him as he gave a sad look.

"Weren't we all in danger right from the start??" Shiv arugued, raising his eyebrows in question

"Yeah....", Sameer took a deep breath and looked him straight in the eye.

"But last night it could have gone terribly wrong. Can't you understand? It doesn't involve just us."

"It... it involves everyone around us", he said the last part sounding sad.

"But it's just our job", Shiv said, feeling helpless.

"So does that mean we can't have a relationship with someone?" Veer threw in that serious question.

"I'm not saying we can't. I'm just saying we should be more careful in that area", Shiv replied.

"You know... it's hard sometimes..." I started.

"Yeah... We lost many relationships just to be who we are today. But I promise you, it won't be the same this time", he said, looking at us.

"Who said a spy can't have a love life? We'll prove them wrong. We just need to be 101 percent careful", Shiv said, gleaming, trying to cheer us up.

"Do you think it's possible!?" Veer asked with a tint of hope in his eyes.

"Yes, we can....", Shiv reassured him.

"So now... can we talk about what we're gonna do next?" Sameer said, clearing his throat like he wasn't all worried a second ago.

"Yeah. We should figure out how they got information about us", I said, grinding my teeth in anger.

"Must be the cameras in the college. There is a huge chance that we missed one of the cameras there", Veer suggested.

"Gotta be more observant about the surroundings next time", Shiv said as we began our prep for our next target

But we decided to give some time before the execution. So that the suspicion can be cleared up.

Diya's POV

I really need to talk to Aarav.... About us. I really like him and I felt like I should let him know that.

I was about to know the door when someone called me from behind.

"Ahhhh...", I screamed in shock and fear. While that idiot Aarav was laughing his ass off.

"Still not over this?" I asked, recalling him scaring me just like this on our first meeting.

"And are you here for salt?" he asked smirking.

"I'm here for an idiot", I replied and started to walk away, pretending to be angry.

"Hey... look, I'm sorry. Just chill, Dii", he said, following me like a lost puppy.
