Aarav's POV

I was getting really tensed about this online auction thing. C'mon, Veer and Shiv would do this task easily!!

"It's about to start", Shiv said as he zipped up his hoodie.

"Is the hoodie really necessary?" I asked, wondering why he did that.

"No, it just gives me the feels", he replied, giggling.

I rolled my eyes, saying 'whatever'.

"Did you create the pseudo name and address?" Sameer asked, munching some wafers.

I gave him a look, like 'Seriously dude?'

"Yes yes. Everything is perfectly planned", Shiv said reassuringly.

"Varma is online", Veer updated, putting on a hoodie too.

"You guys are weird ", I frowned as Sameer shrugged it off.

"The bid is starting", Veer exclaimed.

"So what's the amount?" Sameer asked, still eating.

"£1000", Shiv replied.

"Damn, that's cheap for an expensive item like that", I said in surprise and disbelief.

"Shiv, do your thing. Just don't let it go over 8000. That's the budget", Sameer said, glancing at the screen.

It's true. We, spys are broke as fuck. We don't have much money. Life on budget.

"Someone made a bid for $2000", Veer announced.

"It must be him!", Shiv yelled frustratedly.

"I need a few more minutes to crack this", he took a deep breath and focused back on the computer.

"Let's go....", Sameer nudged me and I gave him a confused look.

"Oh!! You don't know the plan, right?" he said, gasping.

I nodded in response.

"We are going to this pseudo address undercover and we'll receive the parcel", he explained.

"But them—"

"I strongly believe they'll do their work perfectly", Sameer replied as he prompted me to get ready.

Veer's POV

"It's done, Veer!", Shiv said happily.

"Okay, now I'll bid for £5000"

The entire council was silent for a few moments. And I knew the reason. No higher bid was made.

"The item is sold to Mr. Patel", the chairman announced.

I ran to Shiv and hugged him in excitement.

"We did it", I shouted in joy.

Shiv was happy too but it didn't reach his eyes.

"Did something bad happen?" I asked in doubt.

"Kinda... I told Ishita the truth and she hates me now", he said, smiling like he was trying to hide the pain.

"Sorry bro...", I placed a hand on his shoulder.

"It's alright, Veer. I'll be fine..." he said smiling back with tears in his eyes, "I've got you guys."

"Always bro", I smiled and fist bumped him.
